Sweat for Charity This Month With Modo Yoga

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

As if helping you score a leaner bod wasn't enough, Modo Yoga also wants to help LA yogis earn major karma points. For the entire month of March, the Russell Brand-faved hot yoga studio (formerly Moksha Yoga) is challenging fitness fiends to sweat their best for Little Kids Rock, a non-profit org that brings music education to LA students. How's that for doing your body good?

Now through March 31st, the charity fundraiser challenges participants to raise $10 per day, which will go towards the grand goal of $150,000. The funds will provide 6,000 children with musical instruments and will serve 5,000 kids with music education. Although the Sweat for Change challenge kicked off March 1st, there's still time to join the effort and catch up; learn more about the fundraiser here and register on Crowdrise here.
