The HPC Advisory Council will hold the HPC Advisory Council Israel Supercomputing Conference 2012 on February 7th, 2012, together with the Tel-Aviv University, in Tel-Aviv, Israel. The conference will focus on High-Performance Computing (HPC) usage models and benefits, the future of supercomputing in Israel, latest technology developments around the world, trends, how high-performance computing can benefit small to large businesses and accelerate research activities, HPC best practices and advanced HPC topics. The conference is open to the public and will bring together system managers, researchers, developers, computational scientists and industry affiliates from Israel and abroad.

The HPC Advisory Council is a large eco-system organization which focuses on bridging the gap between high-performance computing use and its potential, bringing the beneficial capabilities of HPC to new users for better research, education, innovation and product manufacturing, and brings users the expertise needed to operate HPC systems, provide application designers with the tools needed to enable parallel computing, and to strengthen the qualification and integration of HPC system products. The HPC Advisory Council will be presenting at the workshop, as well as distinguished speakers from the HPC research organizations and vendors.
