David Braun said it best.  "Fugly."

Seems appropriate that they would make a logo that looks like a band-aid...they shoot themselves in the foot often enough.

Maybe Marvel's next logo should be an arm in a sling.

How disgustingly bland.

I was very surprised when DC switched to the previously most recent logo and it took a long time for me to warm to it.  I think this one is horrible and I really can't imagine it ever looking okay to me.  The one with the dark black circle and stars around it is my favorite.

All DC logos have been weak. But this one? If you didn't know that it
was "D" being pealed back, you wouldn't know what it was.

(BTW, why do they call the previous logo a bullet logo? Nothing about
it, makes me think bullet.)

Kip, I always thought it was called that because it looked like the back end of a bullet.

But I could be wrong, just a theory.

Somehow they've made a logo that represents fun...not fun. Very corporate
and unexciting.

Weak. I always preferred the black and white bullet to the swoosh, but now I kind of like the swoosh. This new one looks like the company should make plastic transparencies or maybe locks.

Breaks the number one rule pounded into me back in Marketing class: without the "DC Comics" printed under it, an unfamiliar viewer would not immediately recognize that it says "DC".

I certainly hope they spent a lot of money on this!
