I went here on one of my first weekends staying in Memphis. I got to meet my roommate's gf this visit, and I was looking forward to it. Besides Beale St, I hadn't really been anywhere in town except to the Buffalo Wild Wings next to the house. So this was a Sunday night treat for me.

I had no idea what the hell Cordova was, except it was north of were we lived. So he said let's go check this place out. They had beer, and food, and tvs. What else could I ask for?

When we got there, we all got carded, then they were trying to talk about cover. Hell nah, its a Sunday night with absolutely nothing going on. So thankfully with minimal hustle, we proceeded without paying cover.

This location is about the same setup as the one on Sanderlin- eatery in the middle, pool tables on the left, and who knows on the right. We sat at the pool table side, and watched sports. The server came up pretty quickly but I had a tough time seeing what to get to drink, as all of the damn menus were so sticky I couldn't even open them up. That was cute.

I kept telling myself someone brought a bottle of syrup in and poured it on everything, as the thought of it being something else would get me sick. So I finally found a menu I could open and got some local brew. For food, they had plenty to choose from, I started off with an app platter- that had tenders, pretzels, skins, and I think something else. I also got a flatbread that night. What? I was hungry.

The pretzels came out and I tell you what- the ACTUAL pretzels were amazing. However, the stuff they put on it they called "salt" was damn near radioactive. Even after scraping off the "salt", it was overbearing. And salt usually does not bother me. I had blisters in my mouth after the 3 one. What a shame.

By the time my flatbread came, I almost didn't want to eat it, but I was too hungry. The flatbread wasn't too bad- I am sure though the extra sodium did not help my mouth.

All in all, the good and the bad canceled eachother out, leaving this place at a 2.5 stars. However, one of my employees told me that on certain Saturdays, they have wet t-shirt contests in the parking lot. Wonder if that makes it worth going back to?!?

The Fox & Hound appears to be struggling to stay open. Two to three months ago there was reportedly a complete turnover of management and staff. Don't not what precipitated this but the service when my wife and I were there for a Xmas party was horrible. Apparently when the hosts of the party arrived there was one employee there in the entire place. When we arrived, there was only one server waiting on the guests at the party (25-30 people). The air handler was not working so the entire restaurant wreaked is smoke.

My wife and I placed a food order (quesadillas and drunken chicken tenders) and it was 1 hour before the food arrived. I had to keep asking the server about our food and drink or it likely would have been longer.

I am not criticizing the server AT ALL. She was doing the best she could (a good establishment would do well to hire her away from this dismal failure of a business) but it was clearly a management issue. This location has had its issues over the years and it appears it is on its last legs at this point.

Food was good - bar food. But service and facilities are very poor. Management is struggling to keep the doors open and I predict it won't be long before the doors close permanently.

Once again it was a usual night at F&H. After probably turning the staff over at least 4 times in the last year, they have some stable staff. The staff though, dresses like they just rolled out of bed [including management; it's by far ther worst/least professional of the 3 in the area]. Their staffing schedule is often backwards having too many scheduled at the slow beginning of the night and only one person during their peak times late night.

The food is mediocre at best. Nachos come out with cold cheese almost everytime I've had them. At least the drinks are good. Although it's rare you get napkins without either asking or self serve.

Business picks up about 10:30pm, but they've lost so much business and most of their regulars it's sad. No karaoke. No cigars to sell. Mediocre food. Mediocre service. Hey management, are you listening?

Good food, good service - slim crowd, and smoky

Our regular group went to this location recently since one of the couples in our group won "2 pizzas and 2 dozen wings" for a party of 10. We had a great server who kept all the extra orders and drinks sorted out. With 10 people and 2 pizzas, we decided to order several other appetizers and everybody got to sample a good deal of good food. If you like sports, they have a bunch of TVs with sports going all the time. They even had plenty of pool tables for those who care to play.

It should be noted, however, that this establishment permits smoking, so you may leave with a bit of "smoke" in your clothes, as well as your BBQ Pork Eggrolls. Did I mention that we had some great apps? One that most everyone enjoyed was basically "BBQ in an Eggroll" - new taste and new idea - worth checking out. We also had hot wings and REALLY hot wings (good taste), nachos (fairly good), 2 kinds of pizza (not the best), fried cheese sticks, you get the idea.

Bottomline, our group had a great time and pretty decent food. In fact, our "prize-winning couple" said they already go at least once a week. You might want to check it out for yourself.

Very disappointing. This used to be the place to hangout. The building just seems old and wore out. It hasn't been maintained at all. The drinks weren't bad but the food wasn't as good as I had hoped. They have some unique menu items but it seems like they're trying to hard to be cutting edge. Just focus on doing it right.
The service was abysmal. It took forever and the girl didn't remember things. Clearing the table and being aware of service needs should be added to their training program.
Overall my rating could've been much worse but I'll leave the 1 star reviews to the 3 people that walked out after being there for 15 minutes and no one greeted them.

This is a chain, but you get a good feeling like a real sports bar which is sorely lacking in the Memphis metro area. I like fish and chips, and while they may not be New England's best they are about the best you can get around here, period. Prices, selection and sports are all very good. Service is above average and it is a good place to hang out. No complaints.

Great service, good food. Both Lauren and Zack took good care of me. Recommended the best food and beverages. Prices are a little high, but worth it when it came to the service. No compliant here..would definitely come back.

So after coming here for YEARS I was denied entry because my paper ID was too old. I get they're doing their job, but when these 18 year olds come in and get drunk it's extremely frustrating.
Let's be fair and just card EVERYONE and start serving those that are ACTUALLY of age.

This place is AWFUL!!! EVERY TIME WE GO..we either get a ho server-you don't need to touch my boyfriend!- or we get a shitty/overbearing server- they NEED to tell us before we order if something can't be made !! TELL ME IF YOU'RE OUT OF MF STRAWBERRIES BEFORE I ORDER IT!!!!! The bar also doesn't carry enough alcoholic beverages for their customers! They ran out of Hennessy and Rémy !!!! CHRISTMAS DAY SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!! Had to go to the bartender directly to find out why my drink hadn't been made for 20 min...it was out, but the server must've been too embarrassed to tell me. Also had to get my own WATER from the bartender directly because our server went MIA!!!!!

This one server with greasy long weave that wasn't tied back was alright, but she was extremely pushy with offering water. Like who are you? The Fiji water girl?! If we say "NO" to water the first time, we will most likely say "NO" the second time and the next 3000 times! "NO" MEANS NO!!!!!!! Great way to lose a tip is to be an overbearing server! After the second time of asking & getting the same response, "no," it starts to become harassment to the customer, FYI! She harassed us about water until the second we finally left!!! The server took FOREVER to finally take the bill! I almost didn't tip, that how much of a harassment the server with the weave became!!!!!!!!!! (Go buy yourself a case of water with your tip!) This server also didn't care about our satisfaction too much because she served us ROCK HARD PRETZEL BITES!!!!! WHAT IN THE WORLD?!?!?!? When we told her about this, she laughed at us and the situation! HOW RUDE! Lastly, to the server with the greasy weave, if we eat then close our tab & decide to start playing pool, it most likely means to leave us alone now! Thanks for the being rude and harassing us the ENTIRE time we were there. Goodbye and good riddance!

This server was only the beginning of the disaster! If it's busy, you'll either have multiple servers [because they refuse to transfer your tab to a single server] to one set of customers (we had two different servers!!!!! WHY DOES ANYONE NEED TWO DIFFERENT SERVERS?!?!?! SO WE WERE TAXED ON TWO DIFFERENT TABS!!!!!), or you'll have to inconveniently go to the bar many times for your drinks. All the servers are money hungry tramps that all give awful service! STOP THINKING ABOUT YOUR TIPS YOU SELFISH SERVERS!!!! THINK ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!!!!!!!!!

I went with my boyfriend. They carded both of us when we entered which was fine. However, when we both wanted a drink, I was the only one carded right in front of my boyfriend and the thirsty server. Let my remind you, she DIDN'T ASK TO SEE MY BOYFRIEND's ID even though he was getting a drink also!!!! FYI, this is age DISCRIMINATION!

Lastly, ALL of the servers [including the ones with long, greasy weaves] needs to have their HAIR TIED BACK so it isn't flying all over our food and drinks when it's being served !! They also need to ID EVERYONE IN THE PARTY!!!! AGEISM IS DISCRIMINATION!!!!!! FYI, DISCRIMINATION LIKE THIS IS LEGALLY WRONG!!!!!
