The City of Boston provides multiple ways to provide testimony on appeals before the Board of Appeal. Testimony can be provided in advance of the hearing via email, phone, mail, or using this form. At the hearing, participants can provide testimony in support of or opposition to an appeal.

This form will assist the Board in identifying those who have an interest in speaking at the hearing. During the hearing, the Board will call upon as many persons interested in speaking as possible; however, both the number of people permitted to testify and the length of their testimony may be limited by the Chair due to time constraints. Participants may also indicate interest in speaking during the hearing using the chat and "raise hand" functionalities of the virtual event platform WebEx Events.
