The iconic Kowloon restaurant in Saugus has finished converting its parking lot into a drive-in theater and carhop for food & drink service.
For car-hop service, Kowloon manager Bobby Wong said you can bring your own tables and lawn chairs, and the full Kowloon menu will be available -- including the restaurant's signature Scorpion bowls and Mai Tais.
On select nights, live music will accompany Kowloon's car-hop service.
The restaurant's drive-in theater launches on Tuesday, June 30th, and the first movie, "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial," will be shown on a 22-foot high, 40 foot-wide screen.
Kowloon plans to feature movies on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays throughout the summer.
The parking lot for the movie screening opens at 7pm with showtimes at 8:30pm. Admission is $20 per parking spot and $20 per table on the turf.
