Own the Home from That Failed Ben Affleck Christmas Movie

New, 2 comments

Remember that time when Ben Affleck and James Gandolfini hooked up to make a Christmas movie? It's ok, no one really wants to remember. In 2004, the A-list actors starred in a film called Surviving Christmas which focused around this very house in the Forest Glen neighborhood. The movie bombed at the box office and along with the 2003 rom-com Gigli marked the low point of Affleck's career. In the film, Affleck plays a wealthy exec who wants to spend Christmas at his childhood home which belongs to a family headed up by Gandolfini's character. The movie was so bad that it went to DVD just two months after its theatrical debut. The home on the other hand is just your standard postwar brick home with matching detached garage. It's asking $519,900.
