Hotel Trend: Artisanal Beer at Luxury Mexican Hotels
Luxury hotels across the country are now introducing craft beer experiences that educate guests about these new Mexican beers that, unlike most American and European beers, are light-bodied and boast a citrus flavor.

Here are luxury Mexican hotels that have recently launched artisanal beer programming:

• Rosewood San Miguel de Allende recently launched an Artisan Beer Tasting program that takes guests on a city-wide tour of local breweries including Cerveza Allende and Cerveceria Dos Aves. Following the beer tasting tour, Chef Victor Palma treats guests to a special meal showcasing the flavors and local ingredients found in San Miguel de Allende and how they pair with different craft beers.

The Artisanal Craft Beer Journey includes:

• Personal tour guide taking guests to local beer breweries, including Cerveza Allende and Cerveceria Dos Aves
• Shopping at the city's local famer's market
• A 5- course dinner prepared executive chef Victor Palma paired with a curated beer tasting
• Post-dinner drinks at Luna Rooftop Tapas Bar to watch the city's beautiful sunset

• The beer tasting session at Fairmont Mayakoba invites guests to discover the unique varieties of beer in Mexico. The experience includes a selection of four “cervezas artesanales,” including a range of unique flavors and aromas, perfectly paired with a selection of botanas.

• Guests at Secrets Capri Riviera Cancun are invited to partake in a full day beer tasting excursion. Using a customized itinerary, participants are taken to their choice of local breweries to learn about local brewing methods and the science behind the distinct flavor of Mexican beer.
