About this ebook

Praised by Susan Mallery as a bestselling author whose “heartfelt, touching stories never disappoint,” Alexis Morgan introduces Sergeant Joe’s Boys: three brothers living up to a legacy of courageous military service—and pursuing the women who have captured their hearts.

No one understands family loyalty like Jack McShane. He’d do anything to honor his foster father’s last wishes, even if it means putting his own plans on hold to manage Joe’s construction business. An ex–Special Forces operative, Jack thrives on the thrill of globe-hopping rescues. But now he’s needed closer to home. His foster mother has her hands full with a troubled teen, and when Jack meets the hired tutor, he discovers a woman who stirs his protective instincts—and his deepest desires.

Caitlyn Curtis knows that good looks can hide a hot temper. After an abusive marriage crushed her dreams of a happy ending, she swore off men—until one intoxicating dance in Jack’s strong arms breaks down every emotional barrier. Tough but tender, he leaves Caitlyn yearning for more of his gentle seduction. Despite the violence he’s seen, Jack is a good man. And even though passion can be dangerous, the promise of Jack’s kiss tempts her to believe that love is a risk worth taking.

Praise for Always for You: Jack

“Engaging and charming, Always for You: Jack is a story of fulfillment, forgiveness, and passionate romance. The combined strength Jack and Caitlyn wield when facing anyone who threatens to break their bonds is incredible. I can’t wait for the rest of the series.”—Vonnie Davis, author of the Highlander’s Beloved and Black Eagle Ops series

“[A] poignant and touching love story . . . I loved every minute, every word of it. This story really touched my heart.”—Books and Spoons

I absolutely loved this story. Every single word of it. The love and compassion that flows from the pages of this book is something everyone should experience and the fact that this is only the first story we'll see about this extraordinary family simply has me giddy. This is Jack's story. One of three men who as teenagers were first fostered then adopted by Joe and his wife Marlene, Jack is back home now. After a career in the Special Forces, he's needed home now to help his mother with the family business after his father passes away. While working on a jobsite he meets a young boy who reminds Jack just a little too much of himself at that age. When the young teen, Ricky, turns up hurt in the hospital, Jack decides to open his home to the him much the way his parents did for him. Jack's in over his head but with the help of his mother and the incredible tutor he found to help Ricky, he may just have a chance to turn the kids life around. Caitlyn Curtis is Ricky's tutor. Not only is she excellent at her job, she's dedicated and loyal. She's also impressed with what Jack is doing for Ricky and is willing to help any way she can. She knows she can help Ricky, what she's not sure of is if she can guard herself and her heart from the impressive presence of Jack who seems to be as interested in her as she is with him. Do yourself a favor and put this one on the top of the tbr list. I highly recommend it.

Joe, the patriarch of the family, died. His three sons and his widow must make their way without him. But Joe left behind more of an inheritance than money; "He’d gifted each of them with a sense of purpose, a place to belong, a family." More than romance, this engrossing story offers hope, love and kindness with a just enough grit, following dismal situations. The author doesn't let the characters survive; she let's them live! Captivating and enjoyable! Standalone read. Book free for honest review.
