Testicular Cancer Awareness Month
April is Testicular Cancer Awareness Month. Testicular cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in men ages 15-34. The Testicular Cancer Foundation provides education, support and also teaches men how to do self-exams, which can help detect testicular cancer early. Check them once a month!

Webinar – “Preparing for Proton Therapy –
​A Practical Guide for Patients and Caregivers”
Starting a new therapy to treat cancer can be stressful for both the patient and the caregiver. Katie McFadien, a social worker in the department of Radiation Oncology at Penn Medicine, shares her expertise through our latest webinar titled: “Preparing for Proton Therapy – A Practical Guide for Patients and Caregivers.” She shares her knowledge of how to manage starting proton therapy from first hand experience working with these patients.
