Help File - Meeting/Function Rooms

Add all function rooms and capacities that your venue is able to accomodate to ensure correct room configuration is returned within search results. You can also add a floorplan for meeting and event buyers to download.

1. Sign into your registered EventConnect.com account

To log in to your account click the SIGN IN link above in the top tool bar.
Useful Tip: Check the 'remember me' box and the next time you sign in your details will be re-called.


2. Use the My Dashboard Link to navigate to your dashboard

Once you have signed into your account click on My Dashboard Link in the top tool bar to access your dashboard. Click on the relevant icon/link to manage your contact details, user group, listing(s) profile and enquiries. *Click this link at any time to return to your dashboard.

Alternatively, you can use the My Menu button from the top tool bar

My Menu ... Click on MY MENU in the top tool bar to display the drop down sub-menu which contains all relevant links required to manage your details, enquiries and listing(s).

 

3. Select My Venues from your Dashboard or My Menu

4. Access your listing's Edit Options - Home Page

You will now be on your listing(s) Home Page.

From here you can view your listing, who is assigned to receive business leads, listing options and status buttons.

Select the 'Options' button corresponding to the listing you wish to edit.

You will now be on the listing's Edit Options - Home Page.

 

5. Add or Edit your Meeting/Function Room(s) Details

Select 'Room Chart' from the Edit Options for your Venue.

You will now see the current listing's function/meeting room(s) details which can simply be updated in the following ways:

Useful Tip: Enter all room capacities that you are able to accomodate to ensure correct details are returned within search results.

To add a room, click the Add a Room Button
Enter the room name, size, height, configuration and capacities.
Click the Save Room button to save your room.

To edit a room, click the Edit link alongside the room you wish to edit.
Scroll down and change the required information.
Click the Update this room button to save your changes.

To delete a room, click the Delete link alongside the room you wish to delete.
Click Yes to confirm that you wish to delete the room.
NB: In order to delete a room, you must have 2 or more rooms listed.

To add a Floor Plan, click the Manage Floor Plans button.
Click the browse button to navigate to the floor plan file on your system.
Select the file to upload.
Enter a title for the floor plan which will be displayed on your listing.
Click the Upload Floor Plan button to save the floor plan to our server.
You can upload one floor plan in any of the following formats .jpeg, .gif, .pdf or.doc with a maximum file size of 1MB.

To edit a Floor Plan, click the Manage Floor Plans button.
Click the edit button alongside the floor plan you wish to edit.
Click the browse button to navigate to the floor plan file on your system.
Select the file to upload.
Enter a title for the floor plan which will be displayed on your listing.
Click the Update this Floor Plan button to save the floor plan to our server.

To delete a Floor Plan
, click the Manage Floor Plans button.
Click the Delete link alongside the floor plan you wish to delete.
Click Yes to confirm that your wish to delete the floor plan.
