Family, friends (carers) and others supporting someone with BPD who want to share their story:
These questions have been developed by people with lived experience of caring for someone with BPD (for ease of writing we will use the term carers) as a way of guiding you to share your story safely and to help us find some great content for the campaign.

Please be aware that you are free to answer whatever questions you like and leave those you don’t blank.

It is up to you what you share but be mindful that we aim to keep all our lived experience content trauma informed and strengths-based. That doesn’t mean it has to be all rainbows and unicorns but it does mean that we try and see the positive changes that are normally not spoken about. These stories are very rarely heard. Your story can be impactful for people caring for someone experiencing symptoms of BPD as well as those still struggling with BPD and so we want to be hopeful and find the amazing things you have accomplished in your role!

The experience of caring for someone with BPD is a very individual experience though there are many commonalities as well. These experiences are very different when the person you support eg is a child/adolescent, an adult child, a partner or a sibling.  In order to add some context, it would be helpful to know what you relationship is the person
