Help Support Teenagers Fighting Cancer

Please help me celebrate my 29th birthday with a donation to our Teen Support Bag program!

Every dollar counts!

Imagine being a teenager in the hospital or a treatment facility dealing with cancer, surgeries, chemo, radiation and more.

Imagine doing that as a teen during this Covid-19 situation where friends and many family members aren't allowed to visit!

This year, our bags have become even more important to these teen patients who need support, inspiration, and positivity.

This year, we've been quite challenged to try to raise funds for this program without in-person fundraising events.

The need for our bags keeps growing. We've given our bags to almost 9,000 teenagers in ALL 50 states and DC!

Currently, our bags are in over 155 hospitals!

Each bag costs us $75 and contains a variety of teen-specific items including:

baseball cap, water bottle, $10 Amazon gift card, journal, adult coloring book and pencils,

playing cards, game book, stress ball, ear buds, and more (including new fuzzy socks)!

Here is a recent collage photo from our most recent "bag stuffing" event in August.

We truly appreciate our volunteers!

When I was diagnosed with cancer at age 17 in 2010, I realized that there were no or few programs to support teenagers with cancer. I learned that I was not alone feeling "left out" between the younger pediatric services and the adult programs. This is why I started my foundation! Teenagers need to feel supported and know they are not alone. Our bags have received rave reviews by teens, families and hospital staff. Some of the teens even tell us that they feel inspired by our bag and my story.

It's so great when we can put a smile on the face of a teen dealing with cancer!
