Support the Second Annual Walking The Path with The Buddha Retreats:

DEVELOPING A LIFE PRACTICE: THE PATH THAT LEADS TO ENLIGHTENMENT
and
DEVELOPING A LIFE PRACTICE TO ATTAIN THE FIRST STAGE OF ENLIGHTENMENT

We are fundraising for the Second Annual Walking The Path with The Buddha Retreats. It will be held in two different locations - Massachusetts and Georgia. This year's retreat will focus on "Developing a Life Practice to Attain The First Stage of Enlightenment." Your donations will go toward the expenses of hosting the retreats so that Students will have the opportunity to learn and practice The Teachings of The Buddha.

We are inviting our Teacher to travel from Thailand to the USA, and we would like to ensure we have the funds to host him in the USA to provide us with the Teachings and host the retreats. Typical expenses include air travel, food, lodging, the retreat venue, and other associated costs.

Crowdfunding the retreat expenses provides the opportunity to offer this retreat at no cost. This means that anyone with a sincere interest in learning and practicing these Teachings will be able to do so without financial resources being an obstacle. This allows “all beings” to attend these retreats regardless of financial capability. All too often, these types of events are only available if an individual has the financial resources to fund their retreat experience.

A community of people coming together to fundraise for the retreats and with our Teacher not seeking compensation for sharing The Teachings allows us to invite anyone and everyone to attend without requiring financial resources. This opens up these Teachings to all individuals, including those who find themselves in challenging financial circumstances.

If you are able to contribute funds to support these retreats and attend, we welcome you with open arms.

If you are able to contribute funds to support these retreats and are unable to attend, we appreciate your kindness and generosity in supporting our mission to share these Teachings with the entire world.

If you are unable to contribute funds to support these retreats and are able to attend, we welcome you with open arms.

Planned Budget
Air Travel: $2010 Chaing Mai --> Georgia --> Massachusetts --> Chaing Mai
Lodging: $1470 (14 nights)
Donation to Wat Buddha Bucha Temple in Georgia: $700
Food: $1184 (23 days x $51 per day)
Miscellaneous: $525
Total: $5889

These retreats will focus on guiding Students in developing a solid foundation in The Teachings and practices of Gotama Buddha (i.e. The Buddha) to progress towards Enlightenment where the mind will be peaceful, calm, serene, and content with joy - permanently. In addition, the retreat sessions in Georgia will be dedicated to sharing The Teachings that will guide a Student to attain the important “First Stage of Enlightenment,” which prepares you for continued practice toward the attainment of Enlightenment.

Students will learn how to establish a “life practice” based on independent observation of Gotama Buddha’s Teachings. Students will be guided on how to acquire wisdom through learning and practicing The Teachings to liberate the mind on The Path to attaining Enlightenment.

At the conclusion of these retreats, Students will have a theoretical foundation to start integrating and applying these Teachings in daily life, including a consistent meditation practice to eliminate discontent feelings from the mind such as sadness, anger, frustration, irritation, boredom, loneliness, guilt, fears, shyness, stress, anxiety, etc. Students will have a solid understanding of The Teachings that lead to the first Stage of Enlightenment and how to attain the first Stage of Enlightenment while having the support to accomplish this goal.
