Shooting Stars - Tech Immersion Series - All Girls Edition - 2023 Application Form
Program Information: 

- Learn about the cycle of Business and Entrepreneurship, Web design, and App design
- Receive coaching from professionals from industry leading tech companies like Google, Nike, Amgen, IBM, Netscout, etc and guidance from peer mentors
- Create a portfolio of projects for your college resume - get ready for a STEM major in college!

When? 

-Session 1- FULL

June 12 - June 30 Monday - Friday 8 AM - 12 PM PST    **Students off for June 19th**

-Session 2- FULL

June 26 - July 14 1 PM - 5 PM PST     **Students off for July 3rd & 4th**

-Session 3- (Last Session for Summer)

JuL 10 - July 28 1 PM - 5 PM PST

All High School Girls - Grades 9-12

This is a very competitive program - Below are the expectations 

- Interview after registration to determine fit for this program (without an interview, acceptance is not possible)
- Students should indicate interest in and motivation to pursue tech.
- Students should expect to commit to approximately 60 hours required between June 12th and June 30th. 
- After the program opportunities will be given for further STEM conferences, camps, college counseling etc and some level of participation expected 
- Mandatory bi-annual surveys till end of senior year of high school

 
Experience in programming is not needed!

Priority will be given to underserved girls in STEM - Students of color, low income students, students from rural areas, first generation students, etc
