Dear Friends,

“It is good people who make good places.”  Anna Sewell

As 2021 draws to a close, I feel so fortunate to have reconnected with you. My travels this year have taken me around the US and my heart is full from the kindnesses that you have shared with me. I have one last show to close the year out, and it is with the P Buckley Moss Gallery of Blacksburg. You’ll want to put your Santa hat on and come join the gallery and me as we celebrate the best of the Christmas season.

All of my new work and your Moss classic favorites will be at the P Buckley Moss Gallery of Blacksburg. New this fall are my prints, First Morning Frost, Early Morning Friends and Crisp Morning Air. You’ll note that each print compliments the other and gives you numerous options for decorating.
First Morning Frost, IS: 6-1/2 x 7-1/2 ins. Early Morning Friends, IS: 6-1/2 x 7-1/2 ins. Crisp Morning Air, IS: 6-1/2 x 7-1/2 ins. Giclée on paper. Edition: 250 each print and 25 artist's proofs each print.
$170 per set of three, or $60 each individual giclée.

A special gift is in store for the winner of this holiday gift basket! Be sure to enter the drawing for it during your visit the P Buckley Moss Gallery of Blacksburg this weekend.

Recently the P Buckley Moss Foundation concluded the 2021 Teachers Grant Awards and I have the names of the winners to share with you. I am thrilled as we all should be to lend a hand to our educators. Before I name the winning schools, I want to say that this year’s applications overwhelmingly had a sad element to them. Many of the schools who applied for the grants have no art program whatsoever, or have such a limited budget that the teachers are financing the programs. I find this profoundly disturbing because if it weren’t for art, I would not have a voice, nor would I have been able to learn. Much more than drawing pictures, the use of art in all phases of education can unlock minds in addition to creating positive self-esteem. The board members of my foundation want to make a bigger impact next year by providing more grants. To accomplish this, they have created a fundraiser through Betterworld online. This platform does not charge us for use. Any money donated, with the exception of credit card fees, goes to work for the teachers. I invite you to join me in making a donation to this fund so that we can improve and increase the opportunities for learning. It will be a great Christmas gift.
