Encinitas Friends of the Arts: Artists Reception
  
An eclectic mix of paintings will be on view created by Encinitas Friends of the Arts board members Irene Abraham, Laura Diede, Patricia Frischer, Angela Jackson, and EFA President Naimeh Woodward. Meet the artists and enjoy refreshments. The exhibit will be in place through January 4.

Garden of Lights
The Garden is transformed into a dazzling winter wonderland with over 125,000 sparkling lights for a magical holiday experience. With nightly snow sledding, horse and wagon rides (on select evenings), beer, mulled wine, arts and crafts, visits with Santa, and more!

Storytelling for the Holidays
Marilyn McPhie
Join us for a special event with Marilyn McPhie where storytelling is paired with art for a fun-filled, family-friendly, literary experience. Plus, each participating family receives a free book to take home!  The theme is Holiday Stories.

Wednesdays@Noon: Adrienne Nims and Spirit Wind Holiday Concert
The band will take you on a musical journey with lush harmonies, mystical melodies, and global rhythms. Performed on flutes, saxophones, keyboard, and percussion, the music is eloquent, earthy, and multidimensional, combining jazz, Latin, Asian, R&B, and styles from around the globe. The group will bring their unique style to a program of holiday favorites that is sure to bring out the yuletide spirit!  Info (Parks, Rec. and Cultural Arts Dept.)

Solar System Explorers Club: Our Planets in Motion
Led by Susy Kurtik, NASA Ambassador, this month's adventure includes a presentation on the motion of the planets. Design and build a solar system on a string.

Dominant Chakra Theory with Dr. Richard Jelusich
Chakras are centers of consciousness that not only provide essential ki distribution but affect the four archetypes of "the whole human being" (mental, physical, spiritual and emotional). The chakras are part of the human biofield (chakras, ida/pingala, shushumna) that radiate the presence of the human being into the physical dimension.
