Excellent so farReviewed by Tom from Kitsap area Washington on Thursday, December 6, 2018I have wide feet so I had to order these a size bigger than my usual size (they don't come in widths). I have had them about a month now. The L boot was oddly uncomfortable at first, the portion where the tongue and outer part were rubbing on my foot. However that has since worked it's way out and they fit really good now. The width, in the size up, has not been a problem, even with thicker socks. These boots do "suck" your socks down into the boots occasionally so wearing ankle socks has been something I have been avoiding (and due to the colder weather).

Hi-Tec Skamania model so I decided to pay a little more and see what I think of the Discovery OX. They were comfortable immediately and appear to be made from better quality materials than the Skamania. So far so good. i've been on several short hikes and wear them daily to work and around home. I'm really happy with them for now.....time will tell. -

I experienced an uncomfortable rubbing on the top of my right foot just under one of the metal eyelets. I was very disappointed because the boots looked great.
