Darknight has some amazing projects on the horizon and we need your help to make it happen! We need you so that we can continue to keep Darknight going and growing!
First, we have been accepted into Theatre for the New City's Dream Up Festival! The thought provoking and important play "You Don't Know How It Feels" written by Kelley Blessing and directed by Traci Timmons, will be produced and performed in August/September 2018 and we need help with entrance fees and other production costs that are not covered under the festival.
2nd, the 10th anniversary performance of "What I Always Wanted to Do - The Musical" will be up in October 2018. This show, appropriately subtitled "A Perfect 10", will mark 10 years of our awesome cabaret that showcase people doing what they always wanted to do, regardless or race, type, gender, age and anything else that may keep them from becoming their favorite part on Broadway or in the movies! This will also be the last year of this show for Darknight so we need help to send this show off with a bang!
Lastly, in December, we want to put on a new one act series (title TBD). We have tons of wonderful playwriting talent and we want to let you in on their thoughts, messages and imagination! Please help unlock these new creative doors!
We appreciate donations of any size and we will be sure to give you a shout out of thanks on social media, on our website and in owur programs. Darknight has survived on your audience participation as well as self funding however for these wonderful projects that are ahead, we really need your help to make our visions a reality!
