While the news of Iron Fist's cancellation makes the possibility of a Defenders Season 2 unlikely, Jeoff Loeb, Marvel's head of TV, did say that a second Netflix team-up series was simply "not in the plans right now, but you never know!"Looking ahead, Daredevil Season 3 premieres on Friday, October 19, which we say "is a strong outing for both Matt Murdock and Charlie Cox" in our review. There's also the second season of Punisher coming in 2019 and Jessica Jones Season 3 is currently in development.
For fans of Iron Fist, there is still hope that the characters will live on, either in cameos or a new original series like a Heroes for Hire team-up featuring Luke Cage and Iron Fist, or even a Daughters of the Dragon series with Misty Knight and Colleen Wing.
