We are a growing organization seeking committed candidates to help us serve our clients. Currently we have an opportunity for a QA/QC Manager:

 

 The QA/QC Manager demonstrates substantial knowledge of processes, codes, and job specifications and has the ability to perform routine QA/QC product inspections as required.  Included with a Visual Welding Certification, the QA/QC Manager shall be knowledgeable in QA/QC equipment operations and associated documentation of inspections and testing.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Use of interpersonal skills to effectively communicate departmental requirements and objectives as well as communicate requirements across departments.
  • Ensures products meet and/or exceed standards and specifications.
  • Assists Inspection Supervisor and QA/QC personnel as needed.
  • Prepare daily reporting and conduct weekly team meetings in support of the project.
  • Report results of inspections, both in written form or through use of computer (Microsoft Office Programs)
  • Works at a pace sufficient to obtain quality and quantity of inspection/testing, consistent with operational requirements.
  • Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule.
  • Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by Supervisor.

  • Sufficient education, training, and experience to ensure qualification in inspection methods being used.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills.
  • Leadership skills.


Education / Experience

  • Minimum 10 - 15 years manufacturing or field experience.
  • Understanding of welding concepts and liquid industrial coating applications.

Must be capable of operating a standard 1/2 ton pick-up for occasional delivery and pick-up of materials and personnel and hold a valid, unrestricted motor vehicle operator's license issued by the state of residence, and the manual dexterity necessary to operate a standard desktop computer keyboard.
