My Students

The STM Band program is such an exciting group of mixed interests, abilities, and personalities. Some of my students are learning to read, count, and perform while the more advanced students are working towards mastery of the their instrument. Our groups love to perform and continue to challenge their teacher for more advanced opportunities.

My classroom is about building skills to grow as both musicians and independent young adults.

The work we do in this classroom is focused on building relationships, work as a large group, small ensemble, and soloist, and using self motivation to grow inside and outside of the rehearsal setting.

My Project

By donating to our project, a donor will not only help to improve and increase student participation, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement and performance. As the STM Marching Band has grown, so has the need for more and better marching instruments. Tubas are arguable the most valuable instruments to the band, as they set the foundation to the sound and increase tone projection of the entire group. Not only will this project directly impact the tuba players, but will improve the overall sound of the entire marching ensemble and the other instruments in the marching band.
