Call for Testing: WordPress for iOS 9.8

WordPress for iOSiOS The operating system used on iPhones and iPads. version 9.8 betaBeta A pre-release of software that is given out to a large group of users to trial under real conditions. Beta versions have gone through alpha testing in-house and are generally fairly close in look, feel and function to the final product; however, design changes often occur as part of the process. is available for testing on TestFlight. What to Test:

1. New Features

  • Uploads are now asynchronous!
  • Pages that fail to upload will now be marked red.
  • The input field for writing comments can now grow up to 5 lines.

2. Several Bug Fixes

  • Post tags no longer drop a shadow.
  • Resolved some refreshing issues when creating Categories.
  • Jetpack: Resolved some layout issues during setup.
  • Reader now loads with the correct locale.
  • iPad: Tapping on a notification properly launches the App and shows it.
  • Notifications: Tapping on a post notification takes you to the reader.
  • Editor: Posts are initialized as Draft instead of Published.
  • My Profile: Ampersands in names are now properly displayed.
