The power of blessing is a largely undiscovered and little practised ministry. This Retreat Day is an opportunity to explore and practise what it means to bless someone. We will be looking at the purpose of blessing and some of the outcomes which Scripture encourages us to expect as a result. As well as teaching on the subject of blessing there will be opportunities in small groups to practise how to bless with effect.

Reverend Dr Russ Parker is Director of 2Restore: Healing Church Wounds, which offers resources to help churches resolve and heal their issues and move forward. Russ was Director of Acorn Christian Healing Foundation from 1995-2013.  He was a Baptist Pastor, ordained in the Church of England and had several other clergy related roles. He is also the author of several books and teaches on issues connected with Christian Healing and Healthcare, Reconciliation and Church Transformation.  He is also a co-founder of the Community of Aidan and Hilda whose main house is situated on the holy island of Lindisfarne.

BY ROAD - Mulberry House is situated on the A414 at High Ongar, Essex. If you are travelling from the M11, exit at junction 7 and follow the A414 towards Chelmsford. Remaining on the A414 pass over three mini roundabouts. The House is on the right, 0.6 miles past the "Four Wantz" roundabout (BP Service Station). If you are travelling from the A12, exit at junction 15 and follow the A414 towards Harlow, you pass over 2 roundabouts and then Mulberry House is situated on your left.

Bus No. 420 (501 on Sunday) - Harlow, Epping Train Station, Ongar, Brentwood Train Station.

Bus No. 32 - Chelmsford Train Station, Highwood, Blackmore, Ongar. 

Bus No. 46 - Chelmsford Train Station, Roxwell, Willingale, Fyfield, Ongar.

Mulberry House is a 10 minute walk or short taxi ride from Ongar High Street.
