Anne Malcom has been an avid reader since before she can remember, her mother responsible for her book addiction. It started with magical journeys into the world of Hogwarts and Middle Earth, then as she grew up her reading tastes grew with her. Her obsession with books and romance novels in particular gave Anne the opportunity to find another passion, writing. Finding writing about alpha males and happily ever afters more fun than reading about them, Anne is not about to stop any time soon.

It pains me to write this. I have really enjoyed this series, but honestly, this is utterly jumping the shark.

I did NOT find this beautiful, moving or in any way an excellent or worthwhile addition to the books that have gone before.

I found it trite, disgusting at points and so pathetically manipulative that I was checking to make sure this wasn't fan fic.

AM can and has done much, much better, this was just sheer emotive porn for the sake of throwing over the top drama into what had been a good series.

There was too much emphasis on what is basically emotional mushroom fertilizer and not enough detail on the story arch.

Sorry I read this one, I had a huge fondness for this series and now I am just done.

So there’s a lot going on in this book and I say that in all the best ways. These books have been building up to something major and we finally have a huge conclusion that just may tear the entire MC apart. With that being said from beginning to the very end there’s something and I mean a lot of something’s going on like love, tragedy, healing, war, pain and a happy ending these two characters so much deserve.

Years ago both Caroline and Liam lived very different lives they both had tragedies define and change their lives and they also both found ways to live. Even if they were only half lives because the tragedies that struck changed something fundamental in them both. Caroline is always seeking the truth even if it brings her to dangerous places where ugly is all there is. Now back home in the states Caroline has her sights set on the Sons of Templer MC not knowing that the second she walks into their compound her life would change in ways she never would have guessed and never could come back from.

Jagger found the Sons at the lowest he ever was. He was willing to do what others weren’t because he had nothing to loose and keeping his brothers safe became what he lived for. Then one night changed everything and he was faced with heartache and a reconstruction that would rock his world and leave him forever changed.

These two strong damaged and fearless people come face to face with each other and the fact that they aren’t as fearless as they thought. While they fall in love and find a new normal they are both also faced with a danger that could not only destroy them both but everyone around them.

The two main characters are broken and torn apart by a decision that they though would give them a happy ending but in truth rips everyone apart and changes people in ways that can never be put back the way it was. I have been purposely vague for a reason in this review, there so much I don’t want to spoil in this review that there’s a lot I can’ say. What I will tell you is that this story is amazing. Both Caroline and Jagger have so much to get through to find a happy place and a place where they can accept the past and move forward.

I can’t recommend this book enough, Jagger and Caroline start this book as two very different people then they are at the end but what never changes is their love. Not only are the two main characters phenomenal but we also see previous main characters and we also introduced to amazing side character’s that just add so much more to this book. When I think Anne can’t astonish me anymore I just open up her newest book and I am yet again awe struck. From the beginning to the end I was hooked, I couldn’t get enough, and once I finished this book I wanted more.

*Thank you Anne Malcom for this Beta copy.

While I might be vigorously sleep deprived, my heart is so full. Sleep, food, and air are basically irrelevant when it comes to satiating my body with the words of this book. Deadline to Damnation by Anne Malcom is the seventh book of the Sons of Templar series. And if you have been an avid supporter of this series, you will understand the significance and importance of this novel. And while each novel of the series can be read as standalones, I strongly suggest reading the previous installments before this one, to really feel the powerful effect this book emits.

An awe-inspiring novel that is about so much more than an MC romance. It's about brotherhood, family, tragedy, secrets, second chances, forgiveness and love. It's a book that encompasses everything and I think it's that's what makes it such a unique book. By far the best book I've read this year because I have never felt this way about a book before. It's mysterious, strange and, at one point, worrying. I started reading this book after a restless evening and didn't put it down until 8 am the next morning. It's so good. I am filled with so much gratitude, so much pain, and love, that I revel in this feeling. I may not have known it at the time but this was something I didn't know I needed.

I can't tell you how much I cried during this book. Not only because the angst in this book is excruciating but I cried at the sweet moments as well. In a world dominated by violence, anger, and monsters; it's so rare to see 'sweet' and my heart couldn't take it. They are always judged so harshly for the loud bikes they ride, the tattoos on their skin and the blood on their hands. But the thing about Malcom's anti-heroes is the softness in their eyes when they're with their women, the protective instinct that rivals cavemen and the ability to be loved and give love so raw and real, one is unable to remain unaffected.

I went in blind. The only thing I knew was that it was Jagger's story. And what a beautifully tragic story it was. I have always been intrigued by Jagger and discovering how he got to be the way he was, blew my mind. I won't say much because I refuse to spoil the experience for you, but his story was huge! It totally wrecked me, there was so much hate, regret & pain. What do you do when your past comes back to haunt you, but it comes back a completely different person? When your past was the reason why you're so broken in the first place? How do you even face them? Or even think about the approach to forgiveness? It's such rollercoaster ride but I devoured every single word like the addict I am. I'm pretty sure I've highlighted the entire book too.

And I can't even begin to tell you how strong the heroine is, as are all of Malcom's heroines. She is fierce, calm and collected in the face of death, so sassy, strong-willed and filled with so much pain. She is an independent woman that I want to be when I grow up (sidenote: the female empowerment in this book is freaking awesome). My absolute favourite part was getting to see all the characters from the previous books again, getting to delve back into their heads and experience their love stories all over again. Omg, I died! My favourite book of the series and one I'll never forget. I can't wait until everyone gets to experience what I'm talking about for themselves. Bravo Anne Malcom! You have come so far and deserve all the blessings life has to offer.

SIX STAR READ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s 1.30am. I am crazy sick (& in so much trouble from Annette for staying up late) BUT I just finished my beta read of Deadline to Damnation and all I can say is FUUUUUUCCCCCKKKKK 😭😱💔😳😰🔪🤤🔥😤🤬😩

No secret I fangirl Anne like a crazy person & it’s because of books like this. This is next level storytelling. I could not put it down. Heartbreaking in the best possible way.

I cried so hard I woke my husband twice. I had snot running down my face as I hiccup sobbed. My glasses fogged & my chest actually still hurts. We won’t even talk about the headache I have. Totally worth it though. I FELT every word of this story. Every single word.

I might have threatened to unfriend her, pinch her & give her a nipple cripple too - not even fucking joking!

This one is raw, it’s brutal, it’s beautiful and it’s also hilarious. The dialogue in this one is some of her best writing yet!

Beta read. Proper review to come... Get it on your TBR today!!!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Every time I read one of the books in this series, I think to myself this is the best in the series. She won't be able to top this on with the next book. Well she did, this book was absolutely amazing. A 10 star read. This book picks up where the last left off with the New Mexico chapter. We get to meet some new characters which I hope get books in the future....wink wink.

Liam and Caroline story was not an easy one. They have a very loaded history together. I'm glad they made it back to each other in a twist of fate. Their story is not a happy/ easy one but its theirs. As per usual they story line is completely engrossing, the character development is amazing and the steaminess factor is of the charts. My emotions were all over the place with this one. Plus we get a lot of girl time in this book. The woman are hysterical in this book. We see more of Scarlett and Macy. Plus the Amber girls and Rosie who was amazing in this book.

I hope to see more from this Chapter!!! Bravo Anne you it this one out of the park.

SOT7 was a complete knockout for me! Anne Malcom makes Jagger and Caroline work hard throughout this book, it's probably the darkest of the Sons, and I never thought I'd say that after Battles of The Broken.

"The truth was a bully we all pretended to like."

Caroline really doesn't want Jagger's truth, but after all she's seen who can really blame her? Caroline's truth explodes all over Jagger like an RPG, and it amazed me that he was still standing.

"Does anyone do anything like write the things that made them happy in a day without some kind of shrink telling them to do it? If you had to write down reasons you were happy , then it was a big sign that you weren’t happy."

Watching such incredibly damaged people fight to be each other's salvation or damnation was excruciating, but I couldn't keep from turning the page.

You definitely don't want to miss Jagger and his Peaches, and the whole Sons of Templar family in Deadline To Damnation, a full five stars for me!!

Wow. Just wow.
Anne Malcom books always blow me away but this was on another level.
It was so nice to be back amongst the men and women of SOT again although some of the events within this book will rip your heart out.
This is not an easy story, most of Anne's books aren't but that is what makes them stand out and why you remember them all.
Grab a box of tissues, some wine and your ciggies, you're in for one hell of a ride.
Would give more stars if I could.

I'm not sure how I feel about this book.
I'll start by saying you need to have read the series before starting this one as there is a war brewing through the series and this is the conclusion to that main enemy.
Also previous couple's and characters all make an appearance or are mentioned towards the end, even having multiple POV, so to understand things fully it's best to read in order.

I started with Making the Cut, which I initially loved, when I reread it some time later I did find Gwen a bit overly dramatic but it was well written and set the scene for a good series.
As the series progressed I found after Mia and Bull's book that a lot of the books started to feel all the same, tortured Hero who had lived through dark experiences and was scarred by those, this was also true of the heroines and it bled into the spin off Security series, even Rosie and Luke's story, which I had looked forward to from Making the Cut but was really disappointed in the way Rosie was developed.

This book worked a bit better for me, maybe because it was second chance.
Jagger and Caroline had plans for a future together, marriage kids, then he declares he's going to war. Seemed to come out of the blue...
He is reported dead and she is distraught, along with his family who are devastated.
14 years later she runs into him at the club.
I'm not sure I could have forgiven him, what he did was awful.
He had his reasons and if he felt he couldn't be in a relationship, that's one thing but he also let his parents and his sister believe he was dead.
The heroine does give him a hard time about it and doesn't just accept him back easily, they have a rocky road.
I didn't really understand the premise of her being a reporter and telling the club's story so being accused of being a rat. I struggled with her excuse for being there.
It is well written.
Funny banter.
HEA.
The HEA is for the main couple but also updates on previous characters and couples.

I appreciate my review may be in the minority but it is what it is and although there are some very good parts I just don't want to read the same dark, depressing couples over and over in each book.
Please judge for yourself, if you've enjoyed the series I am sure you will love this one too.

There are no intimate details of anyone other than the Hero and heroine.
No cheating.
During the separation there are others for both of them .
The Hero did try to start a life with another woman but he wasn't giving it his all but it's a bit hard to forgive when you see what he promised Caroline and how he lied about bring dead.
There is ex drama but not in a spiteful way, the ex interacts with both the Hero and heroine but is no threat.

There is some violence.

“It was with that realization that I jerked from my stupor and flailed out of his arms like his touch was acid to my skin.
It was.
It was acid to my soul.”

If you thought you couldn’t love the Sons of Templar more, just wait, because Deadline to Damnation will have you carving a new name into your heart.

I am entirely blown away after reading this book! As a die hard Sons of Templar fan, I knew I just had to have the next installment in the series, and Author Anne Malcom gives us some of her best writing yet in Deadline to Damnation! It’s intense, complex, and utterly addicting. An absolutely sinfully good and must-have read, Deadline to Damnation by Anne Malcom will leave you stunned and begging for more.

From the first pages, I was undeniably hooked, and completely enthralled with this story. Expect to be all-consumed, entirely captivated, and reading from start to finish. This book had me laughing out loud, swooning hard, while feeling totally conflicted. Deadline to Damnation will have you jaw dropping, heart-stopping, and feeling EVERYTHING. Through Anne's words you feel the struggle, the pull, and all of the angst. Experience the possessive, protectiveness you can only get from a member of the Sons, and of course a heroine who can save her own f*cking self by one-clicking Deadline to Damnation today! Enjoy xo

I love to read. Largely because I love books more than I like people. The other reason is that books kept me alive in both a literal and figurative sense. I loved it so much that I pursued a degree in it despite knowing that a degree in a STEM-related field or future career would be more beneficial. When asked why it was an easy answer. It was because I know that the humanities; Art, Music, Theater, and Literature are the things that ensure humanity stays human. It connects our mind, body and soul. This book, hell this whole series, is an example of that.

I am always floored by an author that can make something tainted with so much darkness and yet polish it to its utmost beauty. This book reminded me that even with constant despair surrounding us, (current times throughout the world and especially in the United States) that there is still hope. These characters and their stories both separate, collectively, and as a club show that not everything is black or white. Sometimes darkness has a purpose.

This wasn't an easy story not that any have been in this series. Yet, there was something to Jagger and Caroline that spoke to my heart. Jagger, as strong as he was also was plagued with guilt and demons. He lost part of himself and I wasn't sure he was going to get it back. Caroline. This might be one of my favorite characters to date because while fearless still was so fearful. She was betrayed. Yet, she risked everything to try and learn from the pain that she felt. I cheered for her successes and felt sad when she faced doubts. For both of these characters, they knew what it felt like to have lost love.

The book made me question a lot of things. Her style was impeccable as always and brought many emotions into play. She tied up all the loose string from this series and ended it with some pretty amazing cameos and insights from former characters. This made my heart do a happy dance and it also made me tear up. It also made me posit whether the fairytales that we grew up on were more harmful than realistic. I always grew up with this notion that it needed to fit into this perfect image but maybe I had it wrong all this time. Maybe, something needs to be broken first in order to truly appreciate what happily ever after should mean. I'd like to think that because if it was perfect then how boring would that be. It wouldn't show the scars or tears, both happy and sad, nor would it show the resilience it took to become whole.

I think that is what I am going to take away from both this author and this amazing book. Even in damnation there is a chance of redemption.

THIS is why Anne Malcom is a Queen. This book. No words. Whiplashing emotion at every turn of the page, nostalgia embedded between the lines, and thought put into every word. It was poised, well written and just so soul-touching.

The characters reverberated off the pages. Their histories, their demons felt real enough to touch. Their tension, their raw emotional state was so REAL, I wanted to comfort them. This story will absorb ever inch of your being. It will suck you in and hold you captive until you realize you’ve been there of your own volition all along.

I have yet to come across an Anne Malcom book I didn’t enjoy, and that is saying a lot about the quality of the genre-spanning author. There is an authenticity to her stories. A certain genuine aspect to them. It’s like every story os a piece of her. Kind of like horcruxes. With every book she writes she becomes immortal because her words will keep her essence alive forever. Don’t know if that’s dorky or morbid, but Harry Potter is universally cool *shrug*

Deadline to Damnation was one of my favourite SOT books. It had great complexity of plot - not complicated, but layered and basking in the grey area of life, and that was beautiful. Definitely make sure you read this one!

Another fantastic and seriously an edge of your seat addition to the Sons of Templar MC series.
Like in many of Anne Malcom’s books, this one is not an easy story, it is an emotional and gut-wrenching journey that pulls you in from the very beginning. Both Caroline and Jagger are damaged souls with each having a tragic past that has made them the way they are now. Both have lived in darkness for so long, they even seek it, but once together the absolute love they have for each other becomes undeniable.

Their story kept me on pins and needles, not only the anticipation of what was happening and what was going to happen between Caroline and Jagger, but also to everyone in the Sons of Templar. There was a battle coming and the anxiety of the outcome kept me on-edge for a majority of the book.

What I absolutely loved was to see all those characters from the previous books, especially the strong, bada$$ women! You definitely see their impact in the lives of these violent and dangerous men.

Anne Malcom continues to captivate me with the books she writes, even with some of the darkness that are portrayed in her stories, in the end healing and love results and makes it all worth it. Deadline to Damnation has all that in spades.

Anne Malcolm's writing just keeps getting better better and she blew me away with this ultimate second chance story.
How do you get over the love of your life? Throw yourself into the most dangerous situations for the truth? When Caroline throws herself into the Sons of Templar New Mexico chapter she definitely gets more truth than she bargained for but will it come at a price.
Jagger and Caroline's journey is incredibly painful, dangerous but beautifully heartbreaking . Will they and the SOT members survive and find redemption.
This story will suck you in with its painful beauty . Just have wine , chocolate and tissues at the ready

*A TOP READ OF 2019*
*MUST READ*
*FOREVER FAVORITE*

THIS. BOOK. Y’ALL.

This author never ceases to amaze me with her words. I tend to say that with every book she’s written is her best... the reason for that is because it’s absolutely true. The writing in this story is phenomenal. This is definitely storytelling at it’s finest.

This story will rip you apart and put you right back together. I yelled, I cried, I gasped in shock, my heart broke...

I could honestly ramble about this story all day, but I refuse to spoil anything. What I will say is that you NEED this book. You need it in your life. This is a must read. I HIGHLY recommend it.

I know for sure a few things I can expect from a book on Anne Malcom’s SOT series; sexy beyond Alpha MC brothers, hot, sassy take no prisoners women and a story that is as tragic as it is beautiful. This book will give you these things in spades. Each book in this series makes you love all the membersof the MC and their ladies even more. You will need some tequila (wine is not strong enough)and a huge box of tissues by the time you are finished with this book . If you have not started this series you need to do it immediately

Tumultuous! Heart wrenching and immensely adored! 'Deadline to Damnation' is Anne Malcom's 7th Sons of Templar book. It's also the one I've lingered to read more so than any of the others. Why you ask? Because I've loved these characters, cried for them, forgiven a few and looked for some to jump off the page and enter real life. I never want this story to end. They've each became part of a crazy dysfunctional family that my imagination chooses to visualize and keep near and dear.

Ms. Malcom's writing is full of angst, raw and dark. Yet, she is one of the author's whose books I yearn to read, no, devour. Her character's are all flawed just as real humans are, they cry, die, lie and persevere. They challenge the way we see an MC story unfolding. Each character lives two lives. The one beneath the kut and the one that lead them to wear it. Her words aren't pretty but eloquent. Their stories are meant to rip your heart out. But, they also teach the reader what it means to be loyal, hard but soft, dangerous yet gentle all wrapped up in a leather package. It's deadly to open the story and witness their mistakes, hear the pain and fear they deliver and listen to them try to build a life surrounded by loyalty to a family built on blood, sweat and tears.

Jagger lived two lives by his own hand. One was innocent born of a young idealistic man; the other bound to a reaper that both saved and stole his life after war. Most times life isn't pretty. It's dirty, its hard, unforgiving and messy but its life. Jagger hated the life he choose but embraced the brotherhood that saved him.

"I knew better than anyone how cheap life was in war. No, even in times of peace, life was cheap. In times of war life was worth nothing, death was worth only a little more, as markers in a score book that no one would be considered a victor in."

Caroline faced death every day. Her heart was shredded young. She choose to replay death on a daily business to anesthetize herself from the loss, from the pain of remembering what could have been. Taking a walk into the Sons of Templar world was supposed to be her expose on the life of being in a motorcycle club. The life of a one percenter MC ;with clubs all throughout the US. She wanted to immerse herself in their life to be able to bring their story to light for the masses. Who took them at face value and only saw them as low life criminals feeding off the good people of the world. She soon learned that it wasn't that simple. Its too easy to judge. She was made to bare witness to unspeakable crimes yet nothing was as she thought or would believe again. Hearing his voice brought the past, present and future screeching to a halt. Nothing was as it seemed. She needed to make sense of something you couldn't make sense of.

"I've seen a lot of men in charge of armies, militias, street gangs, prisons. Almost all of them turn rotten. The cliche that absolute power corrupts absolutely is a cliche for a reason. Not many men stay good when they're given a title. Power. When they're in charge of life and death. I just think it needs to be acknowledged that you've stayed decent. Through things that would've turned a of other men rotten."

Their story is tumultuous, heartbreaking, but real. Ms. Malcom's ability to create characters so realistic draws you into her story so much so that you want to patch into their club. Fight their enemies, meet their families and make sense of their choices. She engages all your senses. You see their strife, feel their pain, bear witness to their anger and tingle with their physical connections.

"Fate was a notion held by people who didn't have the courage to drive their own lives."

Wouldn't you say that most of us also take a backseat to our lives? This book will have you rethinking your simple life choices. Searching for our own drive to inspire the changes you wish to make. Then just maybe allow you to take away the possibility that judging a book by its cover never allows you to see the beauty behind the mask.

Everyone had an ugly past, you don’t meet the SOT without that warning.

This book was unlike no other, so don’t be expecting all sunshine and rainbows.

This is Jagger and Caroline Story!

Fair warning: Just know that there Story isn’t an easy one.

The storytelling in this book was really up there but it’s also heartbreaking as well.

It’s raw, brutal but it’s so beautiful. Some of the events that take part in this book will rip your heart out and pull at the heart strings.

Just know that this book is so much more then a MC novel, it’s also about brotherhood, tragedy, secrets, second chances, forgiveness and love.

Jagger story is tragic and from the moment we met him in outside the lines I wanted to know more about the man with the scar on his face. His story is full of hate, regret and pain.

You will fall in love with Caroline, she is smart, sassy, fierce, calm and collected but most of all strong. This woman life has been filled with pain and hurt over the years. Caroline is the type of women who is so independent is the type of person I wish I was or aspire to be.

I loved getting to see all the other characters from the Amber chapter come together. I really missed them.

This book will bring you on a roller coaster ride of emotions, it will also bring out the emotional side to you. So have your tissues handy.

Get ready to watch two damaged people fight to be each other’s damnation.

Hands down to anne! What an amazing job you have done here. Jagger and Caroline story couldn’t have been written or told any better.

Honestly, HOLY CRAP THIS BOOK! The anticipation leading up to this story and battle I was expecting, but the aftermath I was totally not! I truly have no words, Anne’s books just keep getting better and better. After experiencing the loss of a lifetime that changed her life forever, Caroline works as a journalist who does whatever needed to get the story out to the public. While undercover in her latest story, she is presented with the ghost who changed the course of her life more than once. Jagger has been living a shell of a life since he returned home from being overseas, dealing with the somewhat permanent decisions he made at an emotional and broken time. This story is pretty much two stories in one; we get the full story of past, present and future of Caroline and Jagger, but we also get the anticipated battle between Fernandez and the Sons, and it is an emotional one for sure. One of the best parts of this book that Anne brought us was her ablility to really tell two stories in one. While the focus was Caroline and Jagger, we also got to hear from our favorite couples and characters from previous books, and it made it such a unique read. I loved this book but also can’t wait for the next installment, because while the battle ended, that ending brought up so many more questions of what was to come for them!

Drop everything you are doing and start reading now!

Deadline to Damnation is book 7 in the Sons of Templar series, adulting was thrown out the window and I could not put this book down all day.

Caroline is chasing the story, doing what she does best she slips in like a chameleon; what she doesn’t expect is to find a ghost from her past at the end of a gun that has just been used in a murder. Jagger has been living in the shadows for over a decade, giving up his dream life that he planned all those years ago; she deserves better not the scarred shell of a man that now resides in his body.

The war of all wars is coming and they are all feeling the pain of their losses, when the war starts can the Sons keep themselves and their families safe?

I personally loved everything about this book, while it was gritty and raw Malcom’s writing brought the words to life. I really enjoyed hearing from our other amazing Sons couples, knowing what was going through their minds gave the story another layer.

Malcom continues to wow me with this series, being 7 books in her writing has only gotten better and better pulling me in hook line and sinker.

I look forward to reading more from Malcom in the future.

Crikey.

This is dark, gritty and just relentless.  But in the context of Jagger's background, and the circumstances immediately preceding this story't timeline, it would be completely wrong for it to be anything other.

There is very little light relief, but there are gems thrown in here and there which just take the edge off enough to allow you to continue - kind of a breather.  I think it might be too oppressive a read without them.

This feels completely different to the other stories I have read in this series, but it was a one sitting read for me.  Definitely one of those books that make you feel like you just need to take a minute to collect yourself after you've turned the final page.

I couldn't fail to be moved.

This is an amazing story of love, loss, angst, violence and second chances. I loved this installment in the Sons of Templar series. It’s one of my favorites - one of the best AM’s novels I’ve read in awhile. Thank goodness, it feels like going home. For once, I actually liked the heroine as much or even more than the hero. She’s a fantastic, strong but still has soft edges that bring out her personality. Not like she’s trying to be a man, I hate that. Jagger is a tough cookie. He made a huge decision that impacted so many lives. I didn’t like it at all. I’m still not sure he deserves Caroline, but I guess I’ve come to forgive him for it,like Caroline. She was a saint to be able to forgive him, but definitely not a pushover. She made him work for it. The storyline was engrossing and I never skipped paragraphs to “get to the good stuff.” Definitely grab this one. I’m so happy to be able to write such a positive review.

Nobody, and I mean nobody does MC like Anne. She keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish, only to leave you wanting more. Another fantastic read!

Heartbreakingly beautiful

This story, this story is beyond anything. There are not enough words to say how beautiful this book is. Each time I read a book in this series it just gets better and better. This was by far the best book yet. These two will not let you go until you finish their story. You might hate them in the beginning but by the end you will be hoping for that happily ever after that they so deserve. This book is one in a million.

This series has just grown and grown. Each story I read, I feel it can't get any better, that I can't fall in love with the characters any more than I already do. Anne has proved me wrong again.

Liam and Caroline's story is not easy to read. It's full of pain, angst, anger and past regret. I truly felt Anne's pain as she wrote this book.

What you do get to see, maybe more than the other books, is the true brotherhood. Not only within the Chapter, but within the Club as a whole. The relationship dynamics is so beautifully constructed.

For all the fragility around Liam and Caroline, the club comes together to stand strong against a common enemy. And, thanks in part, to a large dollop of girl power, the enemy is defeated; but not without some sacrifices being made.

If you are new to this series, please, please, please go back and start at the beginning. You won't be disappointed.

Omg what an emotional roller coaster! Deadline to Damnation had me feeling alllll the feels. After reading Hollow Hearts, I knew this book was going to be brutal. It definitely did not disappoint! Jagger and Caroline’s story is devastating and beautiful. Probably my favorite in the Sons of Templar series, which has been amazing. If you like MC reads, you simply cannot miss this series. Highly, highly recommend!
