El expiloto de Fórmula Uno Michael Schumacher está «en buenas manos», según una declaración publicada por la familia un día antes de que el siete veces campeón mundial de Fórmula Uno cumpla 50 años.
En la declaración se pide también «comprensión» por la escasa información que se proporciona sobre la salud de Schumacher, desde que sufrió un accidente de esquí, hace cinco años.
«Pueden estar seguros de que está en buenas manos y que hacemos todo lo posible por ayudarle. Por favor entiendan que seguimos los deseos de Michael cuando un tema sensible como la salud queda reservado a la esfera privada», dice la declaración dirigida a los seguidores del expiloto.
Como regalo por los 50 años la Keep Fighing Foudation (Fundación Seguir Luchando) creará un museo virtual en el que se podrá repasar los éxitos de la carrera de Schumacher a través de una aplicación.
«La aplicación es un nuevo hito en nuestro esfuerzo de hacer justicia con él y con vosotros en la medida en que celebramos sus éxitos», dice la declaración.
