Two Wedding Crashers

Rate this book
I don’t know what love is anymore.

Well, that’s not entirely true, but I’m going to tell you a little secret: I’ve lost the spark.

You know the kind of spark I’m talking about?

Where butterflies take flight in your stomach from two hands innocently colliding. Or catching your breath when you first meet someone attractive. Yeah, that spark.

Except I haven't felt that feeling in forever; there is nothing left inside of me.

Normally, this wouldn’t be a problem--but I’m a writer on a serious deadline, and my editor is breathing down my neck for a romantic, Nicholas Sparks type love story. No pressure, right?

That's how I find myself flying across the country to crash a wedding in the name of research, dress and heels stuffed into my small suitcase.

It should be the easiest book research ever. Drinking some free champagne, basking in the love of two strangers, and tapping into my romantic side. That will be a breeze. I'm a pro. I can handle this.

Until I mistakenly end up in the wrong hotel room, naked as the day I was born, with the sexiest human I have ever met staring me down, wondering what I'm doing taking a shower in his bathroom. I don't think calling it research will get me out of this pickle.

But it will make for one hell of a story....

When I was in high school I occasionally read books but was consumed by other teenage things so I didn't take the time to appreciate a good book on a cloudy day, wrapped up in a blanket on the couch. It wasn't until I received a Kindle for Christmas one year that my world completely flipped upside down. When looking for books I came across the Contemporary Romance genre and was sold and I haven't turned back since.

You can either find my head buried in my Kindle, listening to inspiring heart ripping music or typing away on the computer twisting and turning the lives of my characters while driving my readers crazy with anticipation.

I currently reside in beautiful Colorado Springs where the sun is always shining and there is a trail waiting to be hiked on every corner. I share a lovely and warm home with the love of my life and my five, four-legged children.

I think I fell in love with Meghan Quinn’s writing a little bit more after reading this book. I love a book that I can throughly enjoy on so many levels.

We were introduced to Beck (the Rebel) in Three Blind Dates. And first and foremost, our dear Beck, he is nothing that I thought he was going to be. He’s fascinating, he’s fricken sexy as hell, he is kind, lovable, and someone that definitely is so entertaining. He’s gentle, he’s everything. So when he decides to take a trip with his best friends to a wedding that he wasn’t invited to, he’s excited to be a Wedding Crasher for a weekend.

Who would have thought Beck would find a gorgeous naked woman in his room, that, yes, is there to crash a wedding too.....

Rylee is on a trip with her friends, tagging along to try and get inspiration to write her smutty novels again after dealing with some personal issues over the last year. She’s adventurous, funny, beautiful, and she is looking to live her life and to have fun, leave the past in the past. She wants to live freely especially for just a weekend, and cut loose, have fun and laugh again.

Beck and Rylee have an amazing weekend, they take chances with each other and their red hot romance sizzles off the pages of this book. They captured my attention and didn’t lose it until the last page. They were phenomenal together, I loved them as a couple and their story was so riveting to read.

I hated seeing their wedding crashing weekend end. I wasn’t sure what would happen in their relationship next, heck they both didn’t want anything more than a weekend fling and the fact that they live on opposite sides of the country :-(( But this book was like getting a few stories rolled into one. Two Wedding Crashers is a must read. It’s sweet, sexy, emotional, and a highly entertaining fun read you don’t want to miss.

He’s the man who sets the bar unbelievably high so no one will ever reach it. He’s the man who makes an indelible impression on your heart. An everlasting impact on your life.

I am without a doubt one seriously huge fan of Meghan Quinn! Steamy romantic comedies with cocky and sinfully sexy Heroes are my weakness and Ms. Quinn always delivers and then some! Ever since I read her ”Binghamton” series I’ve become addicted to this author’s writing! The ”Dating By Numbers” series just keeps on getting better. We all met Beck Wilder ‘aka’ ”The Rebel” in ”THREE BLIND DATES” and he was the favorite of many readers, but I wasn’t one of them. I had my heart set on one of the other Heroes but let me just say that after having read ”TWO WEDDING CRASHERS”, I’ve fallen head over heels in love with this man!

Beck has been in a dating slump for over six months and at the urging of his best friends, he agrees to go to Key West with them where he will have to crash a wedding that his friends are attending. The promise of possibly meeting some beautiful single ladies was all the motivation he needed. While on the plane to Key West he becomes intrigued by the woman pounding on her laptop keyboard in front of him who ends up getting baby vomit on her when she attempts to help out the flustered young mother who was sitting in the seat next to hers.

Rylee Ryan is a successful romance writer who has been plagued by the dreaded ”writer’s block” and winds up on a trip to Key West when her best friend convinces her that seeing couples in love at a romantic locale might be just what she needs to get back her creative juices. She wasn’t looking for an island fling but when she meets Beck during a very awkward and embarrassing moment, there is no denying the sparks that are flying between them.

Seeing as they both went to Key West with the plans of crashing the same wedding, they become fast friends and partners in crime during their week-long stay. These two instantly mesh perfectly together. Not only are they extremely attracted to each other physically but they also have the same wacky sense of humor and enjoy trying to one-up each other with their attempts to tell embarrassing stories about one another to anyone they cross paths with. I can’t even count how many times I laughed out loud while reading this book. The humor is just that fantastic!

Intense sexual desire starts to build between Beck and Rylee but Rylee keeps putting on the brakes whenever they get too close to losing control. She's never had casual sex and she knows that just one time with Beck will put her heart in jeopardy. But Beck is so skilled at the art of seduction that eventually Rylee has no other choice but to give in because she knows if she doesn’t spend at least one night between the sheets with him then it will be the biggest regret of her life. I didn’t know how she resisted Beck’s advances for as long as she did! I predict that plenty of panties will be melted after reading this book!!!

Soon after they share a night of endless passion, Rylee and Beck are heading back to their homes in Maine and California. While Beck wants to pursue whatever is building between them, Rylee flees and tries to convince Beck that it was only a meaningless fling for her. She’s no match for Beck. He has not felt so strongly about a woman in over eight years and he knows that Rylee is someone who could possibly be his forever.

Can Beck and Rylee make this long-distance relationship work? While they have crazy sexual chemistry and have the best conversations, they both have painful secrets that neither has been able to reveal to each other. Will stubbornness and insecurities keep them from taking the ultimate risk for true love?

Here are my overall ratings:

Hero: 5
Heroine: 4.5
Plot: 5
Angst: 4
Steam: ++++5
Chemistry Between Heros & Heroine: 5

Two strangers.

Rylee Ryan NEEDS to find that spark again, she needs to find romance desperately in order to hit a major book deadline. So she does the last thing she ever expected, she crashes a wedding to immerse herself into the presence of love.

Beck Wilder doesn't quite have the same idea. His buddy has an extra hotel room in Key West and invited Beck to tag along. With nothing better to do, Beck goes along for the ride, because if anything, he lives freely.

When I listened to 'Three Blind Dates' a few weeks ago, I knew I would have to get to the rest of the series asap. I loved the book so much and I couldn't wait to get the stories of the two guys who didn't get the girl. Becks is the rebel. In TBD you didn't get much of his story as he was closed off, but honestly, he just needed the right person to open him up.

Becks and Rylee both get talked into crashing a wedding by their friends. They end up on the same flight and at the same wedding in Key West. It's like they're meant to be. Rylee is a romance writer who is lacking any spark or connection in her life. Becks is the perfect guy for her. I loved these two together. They complimented each other so well!

I loved how light and fun this was, but it was also emotional and had heavier moments. Both of these main characters have been through something completely different, yet equally traumatizing to each one of them. And both of them really needed to find the right person who would be able to get in there and really open up. When they were able to bare themselves to each other, that's how you could tell their love connection was real and would be forever.
"Sometimes you just have to take a chance on something that makes you happy, regardless of the unknown."

I loved Becks in the first book in this series, but I loved him even more in this book! He was amazing and a great reminder that past mistakes don't define who we truly are. I was so sympathetic to Rylee, but she also had moments where she frustrated me a bit. Overall, I loved them both. The ending of this book was perfect! I've got to add, if you haven't read book one (you really should!) you can still read this book and not be lost! I listened to this book on audio and once again, the narration was fantastic!

5 Sassy Saucy Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Wow wow wow ! This was a perfect romance, just the perfect mixture of romance, humor, tears, angst, and sex.... this was my first book from Meghan Quinn, but it is guaranteed not to be my last.... this book sucked me in from the very beginning, such amazing characters it was an absolute pleasure spending the time I did reading this book with them.... I have to say in my humble opinion Romance writers do write some of the most fabulous characters....

Beck lives in California.... Rylee lives in Maine.... they are both talked into crashing a wedding in the Florida Keys by their friends..... they both have been going through some things in their lives and need a little vacation.... The hotel they are staying at has a little bit of a room mix up so Beck ends up walking in on Rylee in a compromising position and so the story begins....

These two were so adorable together and hilarious.... there were quite a few laugh out loud moments during their adventures on the island... especially at the wedding.... but was this just an island fling? Could there possibly be more? They lived across the country from one another and both had secrets they were hiding....

Loved the pacing of the story, it was so nice to see people take the time to get to know each other.... also really liked all the secondary characters... they both had such a fabulous group of friends.... would love to see Victoria get a HEA... and would really love to get the backstory on Zoe and Adam, loved Zoe! We all need a friend like Zoe!

Something I found interesting that I had never really thought about before is in this book Rylee is a romance writer.... how hard would it be to be the significant other of a romance writer, who is always writing about the perfect guy? I’d have to say that Beck was pretty darn clos..., all except those leather bracelets, not sure I could see past that.... but think about it what if your significant other was a writer always writing about characters with perfect bodies, charm, wit etc. etc. etc.

If you are a lover of love and happily ever afters and fabulous characters.... I would strongly encourage you to read this book💕

*** thank you so much to the author for providing me with a copy of this book ***

I was so thrilled to get Beck’s story. I loved him in Three Blind Dates and I wanted so badly for him to get his own happy ending. This book certainly delivered, although it wasn’t easy for him to achieve.

Beck was IN-CRED-I-BLE!! But then again, I knew he would be. He was obviously hot, kind, considerate, thoughtful, creative, spontaneous, altruistic, remorseful, and deserving. When he meets Rylee, he finally felt the spark that was lacking from his life. These two meshed almost seamlessly. Their chemistry was intense, which made for some amazing sexual tension. Rylee was a romance author looking for some inspiration and happened to be crashing the same wedding that Beck was. And oooh the shenanigans. These two, especially Beck, were absolutely hilarious. I laughed so freaking much during their story.

I’m gonna be honest here and say that while I loved Beck, I didn’t like Rylee. I get making a guy work for your heart, but I couldn’t see how much Beck could make it clear that he was completely into her. He had to not only scale a mountain, he had to traverse a fjord, fight lions, amputate an arm, and make a complete fool of himself. She treated him shabbily and I get why she was skittish, but she was a grown woman and should have acted better and treated him with at least a modicum of respect. Overall, I give this story extremely high marks because of Beck and the many hilarious moments he allowed me to share in.

* * * * 1/2 Meghan Quinn's Birthday Present To Us, 99 Cents LIMITED TIME!!!
Spoiler Free

What a wonder Meghan Quinn is... Just when you think she has nailed every tale, she comes up with another which captures the mind and heart. In this second entry to the Dating by Numbers series, she brings together two equally damaged souls under the guise of crashing a wedding for sexy fun and games.

He is just looking to have a bit of fun... She has a need to get her writing mojo; it has been on a walkabout...she cannot find it for the life of her.... and as a romance author... not feeling sexy and swoony is not good.

There is a very cute meet between our characters and they decide to join forces in their wedding crashing. Chemistry, quick snappy banter, and very hot action happen with the understanding this is a weekend thing... After all... they both live far away from each other... and both have those demons...

But the best is He has figured out this connection is more... and is willing to pursue this "Thing." Now he just has to get her on board.

This had it all....plus all of the humor and heart Quinn does so well. The best is this is part of a series, so ... another will be coming.

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💙❤️💜💚💖
Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙📔
World building: 🌏🌍🌏🌍
Character development: 😊😘😟🥰
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙🎙
Narration Type: Dual Narration

The heroine: Rylee - she is a romance writer with a deadline and her publisher needs 80,000 words from her in just four weeks. Though Rylee has the dreaded WB (writers block). She needs some romantic ideas and needs to get moving on her book. Her friends Zoey and Victoria decide Rylee needs to remember what love is about and thinks she can get her writing groove back if she goes with Zoey and her husband to a wedding in Key West.

The Hero: Beck - his friend Chris talks him into going to a wedding in the Florida Keys he wasn’t invited to. He hasn’t had sex in quite a while and has been missing it. Nobody seems to snag his attention lately. Since no strings attached sex is pretty common at weddings, Beck decides that the mini vacation sounds good and hooking up with another wedding guest sounds even better. Beck is a recovering alcoholic and has been for years, he also has some deep-seated guilt about his past.

The Story: Beck ends up in first class on the airplane down to Florida. He overhears a conversation that the woman in front of him has with her friend in economy class is having about how she can’t even write the first sentence of whatever she is working on. He is more interested than he should be in what she is doing. Meanwhile, Rylee is having a writer's crisis and about the worst flight she has ever been on.

Rylee ends up in a room in the hotel her and her friend are staying at, but finds it already occupied with a suitcase and toiletries of some other man. She takes a shower, in the meantime, Beck returns to find Rylee naked in his room. This was a very humorous book; I was chuckling through much of it. Especially when the two main characters were first getting to know each other. I liked both characters, they both had a great sense of humor and where both willing to be a bit silly.

This audiobook was done in multiple points of view via dual narration. It was narrated by Virginia Rose and Joe Arden. Joe is one of my favorite male narrators. He has a sexy, gravelly voice and is terrific at doing multiple different voices for different characters. Virginia Rose has a soft, feminine voice which is very pleasing, and she is great at showing emotion through her voice.

I've been wanting to read this book for some time now after seeing all the good reviews. Two Wedding Crashers was a funny, enjoyable contemporary with a lot of great characters that had me laughing with their antics and interactions. The author really has a way with showing real life relationships, with all the flaws, perfections, and everything in between. It wasn’t a favorite but it had a very healthy romance and strong friendships, which I enjoyed greatly. Plus, there were some laugh-out-loud moments. It kept me interested, and I'm glad I took the time to read it.

In short:

Loved it!!

Beck and Rylee are both in Key West to crash a wedding. Their first meeting is hilarious!! I laughed so hard and felt so embarrassed for Rylee! From the moment they meet sparks fly. Their chemistry is off the charts! They spend their time in Key West together getting to know each other. They know there’s something special happening between them but Rylee is hesitant to start anything with Beck because they live on opposite sides of the country. Can they make it work? You’ll have to read the book to find out ;)

Beck is my dream guy. He’s sexy, loyal, smart, sweet, romantic and has a great sense of humor. Seriously he’s so amazing I want to marry him. He always makes time for Rylee and values her so much! If you can’t tell by now he’s one of my favorite H’s of all time.

Rylee is a Romance author having a writers block. She hopes to find inspiration in Key West, but what she finds is gorgeous Beck. How I envy her! Their relationship is so amazing!

This book and series is one of my favorites by Meghan Quinn. She amazes me with each new book and I’ll read anything she writes. Another book by Meghan that goes straight to my favorites of 2018.

Review coming...

Oh darn, I waited too long, and got caught up in other books. I intended to write a glowing review of this book and to convince everyone to read it. But now my thoughts and details about this one have escaped me. But my feelings haven't. I adored this book. It was one of my favorite reads of not only this year, but any year. In fact, every book I've read by Meghan Quinn has been a winner. I want to know why every romance reader is not reading Ms. Quinn right now. She has to be the best kept secret.

Anyway, this story about (romance writer) Rylee and artist Beck (first seen in a previous book (Three Blind Dates) made me laugh out loud at times. I loved how they met--both were crashing a wedding in the Florida Keys. It was funny, steamy, and romantic. There were plenty of twists and turns, and I fell in love with the characters. I didn't want it to end! I want to read it again and again! I would love a novella about these two, just to see ...well, no spoiler here.

Not my best review, but if I can convince one person to read this book...

Sweet, fun, sexy, touching... Two Wedding Crashers has everything that will make you swoon, from the unusual naked meet-cute, to heartbreaking real life issues.

Beck first noticed Rylee when they were flying towards paradise to crash a wedding, but they first met when she was getting out of his hotel shower. They keep running into each other and finding excuses to hang out, stoke the fire building between them and just having fun. For Rylee it was supposed to be research for her next romantic novel, for Beck is was a way to get back on the proverbial dating horse. It was supposed to be just an island fling, but it wasn’t.
The air still around us, our breath mixing, swirling between us, our lips so close.

Their connection wasn’t just physical, they made each other laugh, the understood one another even though they really didn’t know each other well, they connected soul deep. There were many things against them, from the long distance that separated them (she lives in Maine; he lives in California) to the fact that he was hiding a dark secret from his past and she was struggling with issues of her own.

Quinn creates an enchantingly addictive love story that bursts with belly aching laughter, intimacy, drama and romance. I was delighted with their quick and flirty banter, thoroughly amused by their antics and touched by the lengths they went through to be together.

Beck is the perfect book boyfriend, a little bit broken but with major alpha swoon worthiness, he was easygoing with a magnetic personality. Rylee has a smart, witty and charming personality who could write up the best happy ending ever but couldn’t find one of her one. Both had me giddily cheering them on and rooting for their own happy ever after from the very first page to the last.
Beck—kind, funny, good-looking, attentive, thoughtful—he’s the fantasy. No man has ever looked at me the way I’ve described the look in my books. Yet somehow, Beck does, and it doesn’t make sense. I’m never the heroine. There hasn’t been a glimpse of a happily ever after for me.

I could probably turn this review into a list of reasons you should read this if you’re a romance lover, because there are very many as all my highlights can attest to. I loved Beck’s pet name for her, Saucy, because she was just as smart-alecky as he was. I truly enjoyed their time spent together in Key West while the ribbed each other, exchanged heated glances and one-upped each other. Those fake stories about being married… I. COULD. NOT. STOP. LAUGHING.
“Eh, that’s more of a joke than anything. I mean, it’s a given at this point that we’re married. We’ve been through so much together already. Puke apocalypse, a funeral, nakedness, the Yahtzee chronicles, and of course the adoption of Pear Turtle Titty Tata.”

Then my heart broke when Beck shared about his past and broke a little more when they went their separate ways, but then I was smiling when the long distance pursuing and wooing started.
Beck: Caught red-handed want me to send you some shirtless pictures of me to curb your appetite.
Rylee: Our correspondence is done for the day.
Beck: [Picture sent]
Beck: Look at those abs
Beck: [Picture sent]
Beck: That smile, come on, tell me you think I’m hot.
Rylee: Your… God, you’re so hot.

I’m going to stop now, because the list goes on. This rom-com starts out as fling but made me wish for a lasting relationship with Quinn’s appealing storytelling. I can’t wait for the next book.

Two Wedding Crashers is book #2 of the Dating by Numbers series by Meghan Quinn. It is a standalone contemporary romance. Told from both points of view with a happily ever after and epilogue, no cliffhanger.

“Happily ever after. That’s what my world revolves around and yet, I struggle to find one myself. How freaking ironic.”

There is NEVER a dull moment when Meghan Quinn is at the reins. She gives us HEAT. She gives us HILARITY. She gives us HEART. Everything you could EVER want in a romance, Ms. Quinn has got our backs! Rylee and Beck will STEAL your heart right out from under you and trust me when I say, you will NOT want it back! The sparks between these two characters fly off of the pages, leaving you in a constant state of romantic bliss. It’s SEXY. It’s HILARIOUS. It’s ROMANTIC. It’s EMOTIONAL. It’s BEAUTIFUL and HEARTWARMING. Once I picked this baby up, there was NO going back!

If you are a big fan of this author, you kind of know what you’re in for. If you’re a newbie, oh just you wait! Ms. Quinn sucks you in with her AWESOME characters and EPIC comic relief. Then, when you least expect it…BAM! She hits you hard with ALL OF THE FEELS and ALL OF THE EMOTIONS! I guarantee you, there will be tears, both happy and sad, but in the end, it will ALL be SO WORTH IT! If you haven’t been blessed with the experience that is Meghan Quinn’s storytelling…you are in for QUITE a treat!

“I’m coming for you, sweet Rylee. You’re mine forever. Mine.”

Characters
Beck (28, artist):
Beck made some life changing choices and has spent the last eight years trying to atone for what happened.
There’s an air of darkness that looms over me. I might live life to its fullest, but if you look closely, you’ll see regret in my everyday movements. It’s like a weight I have to carry around day in and day out.”
He is a great guy and gives back to the world through his art and the message that accompanies his talent. He is everything a woman swoons over ❤️

First impression of Beck:
Beck was introduced in Book 1 as the “Rebel”. He has that “bad boy” vibe about him and is sexy, sexy, sexy. 😍

Rylee (romance author):
Rylee is a successful author who gets inspiration from real life, so she likes to observe people. But, she’s lost her mojo and is down in the dumps.
”I’m going through a difficult time. Not being able to write, having to stand up in front of my author friends and tell them I have writer’s block, hell, it wasn’t easy.”

First impression of Rylee: she’s in a funk and needs her friends help. Looks like there is more going on than just writer’s block.

The Story:
Plot....high level synopsis:
Rylee’s writers block for her latest love story and Beck’s lackluster love life pushes their friends to suggest they head off to a tropical retreat to crash a wedding. They meet, crash the wedding and their attraction leads them to continue to talk after they have flown back home to opposite sides of the country. They both have obstacles they feel impede any type of relationship.

My Thoughts:
There were a lot of things about Beck and Rylee that I liked. There were a lot of fun moments like the sweater burial at sea, corn hole, the helicopter ride, cuddling in bed, their stories at the wedding and the way they crashed multiple weddings in Vegas. The first part of the book was fun and pretty light.

Both Beck and Rylee have some pretty heavy issues and the book made a slight shift from light and upbeat to less witty banter and fun as the story began to head in the direction of confessions. Understandable, but the confessions didn’t come until the end and the tone shifted much earlier, so there was a bit of a disconnect for me.

Speaking of confessions.....
The reader knew both Beck and Rylee had a “secret” but didn’t know what. The reader found out the secrets at the same time as the H/h. For Beck, he revealed his past to Rylee around the 78% mark. For Rylee - she never told Beck 😡😡. It was her friend who ended up telling Beck the secret around 85%.

I was so frustrated with Rylee for just running and not being truthful with Beck. How about pulling up your big girl panties and talking through the issue!! Nope. 🤬🤬 She ran to create drama in the story and for me, her running away and not discussing with Beck just made me dislike her and the story tanked for me at that point. There was already enough drama with their two secrets and the distance issue and Rylee not being honest was just unnecessary drama. And, there was never a point in the story where he H/h really talked about Rylee’s ordeal. Yes, Beck mentioned how he can live with it, but I felt like a really good, deep, heart to heart would have worked better than Rylee just running away. Can you tell I’m irritated? 🤨😠

So, I’m rating this story a 3.5. It had the typical “almost over the top” humor that this author always includes and borders on fun/stupid. Beck is the saving grace in this story because he went above and beyond in every aspect. He was everything I wanted a Hero to be. Rylee, not so much. The unnecessary drama is a check in the “didn’t love” column. I actually liked this story a little bit better than book 1, but I won’t continue with the series. Although I would love to read Hayden’s story, the plot in his book is one that I hate. So, I’m saying goodbye to this series.

- Do you need to read previous books in series?: No
- POV: dual POV
- H likable? Yes. 🥰
- h likable? Ok, until the end when I didn’t like her at all for running away instead of being honest and discussing things.

Slay Meghan Quinn, Slay! More boob squeezes to ya because indeed what's with hug alright if we can do boobie squeezes? And you deserve all the squeezes the world has to offer! For the nth time, SLAY!

May I have your attention please...
I just read a book that's overflowing with awesomeness I can't help but gush and rave over it, because - AWESOMENESS is effin' real. Talk about a book that had me laughing out loud people were giving me the eye like I'm some crazy woman, swooned me and made me fell in love over an over again. Gah! And I am referring to Meghan Quinn's second book of Dating by Numbers series - Two Wedding Crashers,/b> . The romcom was spot on, its also sexy, witty, emotional with all the feels and more!

I know there's a reason why I am #TeamRebel since Three Blind Dates, the first book of this series. ReadingTwo Wedding Crashers solidified that because Meghan Quinn upped her game with Beck and Rylee through her impeccable writing style. I couldn't legitly put the book down until I hit the ending. It's page-turner that will captivate you the moment you read the first word. I have no words except I have an immediate connection and liking with the MC. They were crafted with flaws but that's what made me root with them even more. Talk about immense love with the story, the characters and the book and that's what I am feeling right now. I was invested with their journey to HEA that I wish I am Rylee and Beck is mine. (Huh, you just do not know how many panties were ruined because of Beck! He is temptation and seduction rolled into one.)

I'm saying all of these because for a romcom, this book slayed everything I needed and more. I have always known Meghan Quinn can deliver but all throughout my journey with her characters - Beck and Rylee and even the secondary one's, it felt like they've been a part of me. It felt like I belong to them and them with me. Their interactions are relatable and felt so real. My jaw hurts from laughing and from the constant huge grin in my face. Beck and Rylee's journey on the other hand had me falling head over heels in love with them. Gah! I just love everything about them. For whatever it is and the reason why, you need to read and experience it yourself. I can talk about it for days and the feels I have for them, but it would be perfect for you to experience it firsthand.

I tell you this, drop what you are doing and read this book. Take it from me, you'll definitely just not gonna love the book and the characters, you will fall in love with Meghan Quinn even more. If you haven't read any of her works yet, rectify that because this woman can definitely write. Meghan fed me my own dreamland with her words.

Kudos Meghan Quinn! Two Wedding Crashers is definite must read! Excellently written, amongst hilarity and smexy scenes, this book sure got a BIG HEART written all over it.

Wohoo! I loved this book! I was team rebel from the get-go and Meghan Quinn slayed it! Beck as my heart and Rylee immediately found her way into it too. I read this book in one day because I simply didn't want to stop. I highly recommend it.

One of the best things about Meghan Quinn's books is that she makes her characters relatable. Anyone can write a character but making them feel real and lifelike is a skill- and Meghan Quinn has that. As with many of her books, this one is also HILARIOUS. The things that these characters do and say made me (almost) roll around on the floor laughing. I burst out with the giggles many times, got weird looks from my husband as I was reading and snorting, and felt a whole lot of SWOON. It's all absolute perfection in my eyes. Another great thing about this book is that aside from the hilarity, there were raw moments that tugged on my heartstrings. Every person in the world goes through something emotional at some point showing that none of us are flawless, and this occurs within the book as well. Beck has a little bit of a past and Rylee has a secret that is devastating. Be aware of this when going in the story. It doesn't take over the plot, but shows a human like quality within the characters.

With that, Meghan Quinn has written another EXCELLENT novel and Two Wedding Crashers is going HIGH on my list of top favorites for the year. The cover is divine, the characters are adorably charming, and the plot is amazing AND unique. An all around fantastic 5 star read. I highly, HIGHLY recommend it.

Please note, while this novel is the second book in the series it can be read as a complete standalone. Beck did play a role in the first book but it doesn't have any effect on his and Rylee's story here. But, by all means read Three Blind Dates if you haven't already. Because that book is another 5 star read too.

I had this raving review prepared in my head for this book. Really, it starts wonderfully. Their chemistry is great, it's funny and fluffy but you sense that there is more substance to it. I was totally into it.

Little by little, you start finding out more about the characters and you get even more invested in the story, in them and their relationship. You may grin like an idiot, but it's because they're cute. You might frown a bit because the hero is crude and has a one-track mind, but in general, it's no biggie, you can still enjoy the story. Nothing against a curse word here and there, but used too often, it does have a jarring effect and it pulls you out of the story. Still, it's easy to get sucked in.

Until you start to find out the dark past the hero has. And, damn it's really depressing. I don't think many authors dare to give their heroes such a painful background where it's super easy to judge the character. But then she ruined it by using the most awful trope of all: leaving someone for their own good. Ugh, I hate this trope with a burning passion of all the stars in the universe. The heroine decides not to even open up about her worries and what's bothering her, she just bolts. In my mind, that's where the book finished.

Proving yet again that he's the most amazing hero that ever existed, he pulls off a grand gesture that the heroine DID NOT DESERVE IN THE LEAST, and the gesture is really sweet and unique and beautiful. So in my mind, the story ended differently. The heroine acts like a freaking adult and confesses her problem, they talk it out. He still pulls off the grand gesture because he's charming like that and they live happily ever after. And my nerves are spared. The end.

This was another great ROM-COM from Meghan Quinn that also had a much more emotional impact. There were some crazy feels in this book with quite the swoon worthy hero!

First of all, I love when authors write about a character who is also an author. Talk about having insight. In this book Rylee and her two BFFs are all authors. Rylee is struggling with the dreaded "Writer's block." She let her friends talk her into crashing a wedding and and taking a vacation at the same time to give her some inspiration. There she meets Beck who also happens to be crashing the wedding and the two hit it off from the get go.

This book was just the right amount of sexy. Beck was the sweetest, kind hearted guy but he had a dirty mouth in the bedroom. The witty banter both in person and via text messages was pure foreplay and the sexual tension was potent.

There was a certain depth of emotion to this book as both Rylee and Beck have life altering secrets that they keep from each other for a long time. Their love and acceptance of each other once the truth comes out was inspiring. My heart hurt for both of them so much but I loved that they supported each other.

I dropped a star because I felt the first part of the book kind of dragged a little for me. It also took me a while to figure out Beck. I think that I had a certain view of who I thought he was in Three Blind Dates but he was basically different from what I expected. By the middle of the book I was enjoying the humor that in true MQ fashion, was on point. The last part of the book was utter perfection. Beck seriously stepped up his game! I don't know how many times that man made me swoon. Talk about romantic gestures. The sweetness that is Beck would not stop!!

Oh and I absolutely googled baby red pandas! So adorable! Go read the book now and you'll understand.

A kindle unlimited read. This one didn't really wow me. It was just a light and easy read. I wasn't wowed by it... but I wasn't underwhelmed by it either. Meghan Quinn certainly has her handle on vernacular and I did find myself giggling a bit with her wit and turn of phrase. Maybe it's because The movie version of Wedding Crashers is one of my ultimate favorites...and this is not that... IDK... it's still good though. 3.5 stars.

Plot: Beck and Rylee meet at a resort in Key West while crashing a wedding. They are uninvited guests of someone that was invited and shenanigan’s ensue. They spend time together doing vacation stuff on the days leading up to the wedding, but Rylee is reluctant to get romantic with him. Flings are not her style. They give in the night before they're supposed to leave and then Beck wants to keep in touch. Rylee is resistant- convinced long distance won't work.

Hero: We met Beck in the previous book, “Three Blind Dates.” He was the rebel and he had an explicit oral sex scene with Noely, the heroine in that book. Having those images stuck in my head colored my perception of Beck. He gave Noely a nickname – Sassy - in that book. In this book he gives our heroine, Rylee a similar nickname – Saucy. If I was Rylee and found that info out, I’d be pissed and feel so un-special. There are nicknames galore, why did the author pick one so similar? Yuck.

Back to the explicit sex scene in the previous book with Noely: Here’s a quote from “Three Blind Dates.”
"Not wasting any time, Beck yanks on my legs and hangs them over his shoulders so my heated center is right at his mouth. “Wh-what are you doing?” I stammer. “This,” he answers right before he parts me and presses his tongue against my clit…“Fuck, I knew you would taste good. So sweet, so addicting.” …. I thread my fingers through his hair, my hips moving with each swipe of his tongue against my slit…“Yes, Beck.” At the mention of his name, he presses his tongue harder and a wave of pleasure rockets through me, up and down my spine…His mouth lifts and he asks, “Are you going to come, Sassy?”…I convulse, hips thrusting against Beck’s tongue, greedy, riding out my orgasm until I can’t take it anymore, until the pleasure is too much and I’m on the verge of tears… “Feel good?” “So good.” He kisses his way up my body."

And then Noely returns the favor: Excerpt from “Three Blind Dates”
"Fuck, you’re making me so…hard…Needing more, wanting to see how far I can push him, I bring my lips to the tip of his cock and then suck him in while my hand squeezes his root. I work him. Sucking hard, my mouth moving along the head of his cock, my tongue dragging along. With my free hand, I reach between his legs and grip his balls, lightly fondling them. Together, I work my hands and my mouth careening him to the edge of no return. Beneath me he stiffens. His skin glistens with sweat, his grunts turn me on, and the strain in his neck, in his pecs—in every corded muscles running up and down his body—tells me he’s on the edge, teetering, teetering, ready to fall over. “I’m going to come, Sass. Pull away.” I don’t. Instead, I suck harder, I squeeze harder, and I flick my tongue on the underside of the head. “Fuck,” he roars as he comes, his breathing heavy, his chest rising and falling rapidly."

Even with those scenes stuck in my mind, I sucked it up and pretended like I’d never heard of Noely. I continued to read and was able to laugh at Beck and Rylee’s witty banter. They were fun and had a good time together. A great match. I literally laughed out loud several times. It was definitely my kind of humor.

description

About a quarter way through, we discover Beck has a secret,

Heroine: Rylee is a romance writer whose lost her muse. She also has a secret that doesn’t manifest till late in the book, but it’s a biggie.

Opinion: This was a fun read. I could have done without the insight into Beck’s sexual past with Noely from previous book, but overall it was light and enjoyable. Just what I’ve come to expect from this author. Sometimes her humor is hit or miss with me, but this one was a hit all the way.

The push/pull: Beck is the main pursuer. When they get back to their lives on opposite coasts, he texts her for a whole week before she responds.

Safety/Experience level: We know Beck has been with Noely- at least orally - and he’s been married before. Nothing was ever said about another woman. It was made to sound like he wasn’t a man-whore, but he was looking forward to finding a woman while in Key West and then leaving her behind when he went back to his real life.

There was nothing given about Rylee’s past. Not one thing. We only know it’s been a while. Most likely because of the above spoiler.

The first night they have sex, they use condoms. When they meet up again in Las Vegas, he asks her if she’s on birth control just as he’s about to enter her and she says yes. There was no discussion of diseases or past practices. NOT SMART.

Ending: HEA.

Would I read again? No

‘Temptation. Funny thing, it hasn’t found me in over eight years. The cravings diminished the minute I found out what I did, who I broke, and who I destroyed. Perspective hits you right in the gut when you flip another human’s world upside down, and fuck did it hit me hard.’

Oh wow how we love this series by Meghan Quinn. It has everything for us hopeless romantics; it makes us swoon and laugh in equal measure. It makes us teary with emotion and it has us all tingly from the passion. Another 5 star read from this Author in what’s become one of our favourite series.

‘He’s the man who sets the bar unbelievably high so no one will ever reach it. He’s the man who makes an indelible impression on your heart. An everlasting impact on your life.’

This series of standalones began with Three Blind Dates which was another five star read for us, where we were introduced to Beck. We fell in love with him then, however this love became all-encompassing in Two Wedding Crashers. It was just such a wonderful story which so cleverly broke our hearts but mended them in the same breath. Beck is the #Rebel who’s had a traumatic tragedy in his life which changed his path. He’s refreshingly honest, wears his heart on his sleeve. He’s wickedly funny and has a personality that’ll have you wrapped round his little finger. We fell in utter love with this passionate and admirable man.

“I’m not looking for anything serious, or to start anything with anyone. I’m here to write, to be immersed in love, and then be on my merry way. That’s all.” – Rylee

“Sounds like a plan, but I see some holes in it I would like to fill.” – Beck

Rylee is a romance author who’s sadly suffering from writers block. She’s also in the process of overcoming and learning to live with a distressing turn in her life, so when her friends convince her to crash a wedding she reluctantly ends up on the same island in the beautiful sun as our Beck. Her soon to be wedding crasher partner in crime. There’s an immediate connection between these two which we felt right to the core and which gradually builds into something neither of them were expecting.

‘Seven days. Twenty-one messages. Small moments in my days that made me smile, just as he would want. Small moments that show me I’m not as forgettable as I’ve always believed myself to be. Messages that hit the intended mark. Connection. With me. He broke me. I’m cracked and exposed. And I think I need Beck to fill me up again.’

Rylee was a breath of fresh air and we were willing their holiday romance with their mutually agreed ‘sell by date’ to become so much more. Everyone has skeletons in their closets it’s how you acknowledge them that shows who you really are and both Rylee and Beck dealt with theirs in the most admirable way.

‘What the hell did I get myself into with this woman? I’ve met my match.’

Meghan Quinn wowed us with a perfect balance of chemistry, romance, angst, sweetness, passion, banter and humour. We’re pretty sure, if you looked up the word ‘swoon‘ in the dictionary, it would read: Beck Wilder! What a romantic and beautiful man! And the epilogue…..hearts on the floor…..turn us over, we’re done! We cannot stress how brilliant this series is for the romance and the laughs. It’s definitely one of the best feel good series we’ve read in a while and we highly recommend it.

“Fuck, I like you, Saucy.”

‘I’m coming for you, sweet Rylee. You’re mine forever. Mine.’

”You only live once, why now live life to its fullest?”

It takes more than a romcom to wow me. I NEED a romcom with FEELS. Meghan Quinn DELIVERS the FEELS in TWO WEDDING CRASHERS, a comedic love story full of steam and swoon. This book is the best mix of slow burn meets sizzling inferno. Two Wedding Crashers is filled with endearingly awkward moments that had me glued to my kindle. I was DRUNK on this book! I was so WOWED and WOOED!

I ADORED the beautiful, bold, smart, sexy, and sassy Rylee. Rylee being a romance author made go all gaga. I won’t lie: I had a girl crush on Rylee. She’s all that and more.

Rylee is perfect for hero, Becks, whom we met in the first sensation in this series, Three Blind Dates. I crushed on Beck then and I crushed on him harder. I won’t lie: lady boner alert. This man defines sexy and sweet.

”Stick with me, Saucy. I’ll show you what it’s like to be worshipped.”

Rylee and Becks’ playful banter and texts were entertaining—an intimate and insightful peek into the heroes’ heads. What I loved most about the hero and heroine is the vulnerability lurking beneath their beautiful exteriors. Both Rylee and Beck have painful pasts that make them just so PERFECTLY IMPERFECT.

”I can’t breathe when I’m near you.”

The chemistry is PALPABLE between the charming hero and heroine. Two Wedding CrashersBURNS with delicious sexual tension! These wedding crashers-turned-soulmates ENDEARED themselves to me.

”Do you feel this, Rylee, this pull between us?”

A slow-burning adventure of heart-stopping sexy meets sweet-sighing swoon, Two Wedding Crashers is a unique twist on romance. This story SHINES! The writing is PURE MAGIC. Two Wedding Crashers is DREAMY ESCAPISM—one of the sweetest love stories—that is just so SWEET-SIGHING GOOD. I WORSHIPPED Two Wedding Crashers.

We were two lost souls searching for each other, and we happened to meet in paradise.

💋💋💋💋💋 sweet and saucy kisses

Hands down Meghan Quinn is the queen of romantic comedy. This one is just that – fun, sexy and a whole lot of heart. I did not expect this one to be a bit emotional – a nice pleasant surprise to the plot. The hero, Beck – just wow! He is sexy, a bit mysterious, talented and all good heart and soul. But Beck is not without flaws. He made a huge mistake in his younger years – some of you might think it is unforgivable. But I do believe in second chances at life. Beck has made it a life goal to correct his past mistakes, becoming a philanthropist and role model for the younger generation. Rylee is quirky, sweet, fun and creative. She is a romance book author who’s got a big problem – writer’s block. Beck and Rylee met by chance when both of their friends brought them to crash a wedding in Key West. The first time Beck laid eyes on Rylee (puke and all 😊) he was immediately intrigued. The second time he laid eyes on Rylee she was naked as the day she was born. The attraction and sexual chemistry was instant. Neither Beck nor Rylee is looking for a committed relationship. What was supposed to be a fun and fling week turned into so much more – they can’t quit each other. Will distance make their hearts fonder or will living on the opposite coast prove to be too much?

I adore Beck. He is so sweet, caring, thoughtful and totally swoony. He is persistent and really went the extra mile to win Rylee’s heart. Rylee was dealt sh*t cards and I totally understand why she pushes Beck away. Rylee’s heart belongs to Beck but her head is thinking that Beck deserves happiness and it can’t be with her. I did not expect to cry in Meghan’s book ☹ This storyline really captures my heart. I love that the characters are flawed, tortured, real, relatable – someone one I could have been friends with. For the most part, this book is hilarious with lots of laugh out loud dialogues, sweet and sexy. Adding a bit of an emotional twist in the plot made this story a whole lot more touching and beautiful. I love the epilogue – what a perfect happy ending to a heartfelt love story.

Two Wedding Crashers is a hit!!! LOVED IT!!!!

All the feels for Two Wedding Crashers by Meghan Quinn.

The story is well written, the pacing was spot on and the characters Beck and Rylee won my heart with their romance.
These two made me laugh, they made me smile, they made me swoon and they made my heart ache with their personal demons and insecurities.
Then add both Rylee and Beck's best friends who I loved and wished I had them in my life and I couldn't stop reading.
I truly loved this book so much I ended up reading it in one sitting.

My love for Meghan Quinn grows with every book she writes. I love her storytelling, her characters never fail to entertain me and she leaves me wanting to get my hands on her next book release and fall in love with her words and characters all over again.

Two Wedding Crashers is an excellent addition to the Dating By Numbers series, each book can be read as a standalone and I highly recommend them both.

The Good.
My first Meghan Quinn was an adventure and way more emotional than I anticipated. I even got a little misty towards the end, which is rare these days because let’s face it
description

Perhaps it’s because I can empathize so much with Rylee (more on that later), but this story starts light and breezy, but you always know that there are some deep, dark waters under that surface. When you get to it, there are some hard reveals that really give these characters some depth and dimension, and allowed me as a reader to really connect with them. Mostly my desire to connect Beck with my mouth because ….
description

The early, flirty part? Lawd. Rylee did not make it easy, but damned if Beck wasn’t happy as fuck working for her, and I am here for THAT. It was very, very sexy. I adore the anticipation, and these two oddballs fit really, really well.

The (Mildly) Bad(ish)
So, Rylee. Girl, I adored her. I really did. I did empathize with her, particularly with her big secret. I understood her issues, and even towards the end, when you get to that final moment of epic dumbassery (which yes, she is aware of, owns it and apologizes for), I still got misty for her.
But….argh. It’s just one of my pet peeves - the unilateral decision-making. It’s a tried-and-true plot point, but it’s not one I’m fond of. And unlike Beck (whose past is also murky until the truth-telling later in the story), I felt that Rylee’s big secret was just a bit too vague. The reader could get on Beck’s side early on, and it gave him an almost unfair advantage. Even if you weren’t sure of the details, there was enough to infer. As a result, I think it lessened the impact of that final reveal of hers because it would be real easy to write her off as a runner and be done with her way before that point. And that would be a shame because she’s so worth the time to get to know, flaws and all.

Everything In Between
The friendships rang true and strong, and there are plenty of quirky secondary characters to flesh out the canvas and give life to what could be your standard small town in Romancelandia. With some really delicious potential for future heroes and heroines, I really liked inhabiting this ‘verse and I want to visit it again.

description

A fun rom-com with hidden depths, I really enjoyed Beck and Rylee’s romance. I need to get through my Mountain O’TBR and make my way to Ms. Quinn’s backlist, because she is an author to get to know better.

If you love your contemporary romance with a good blend of heart, heat and humor, I happily recommend this.

I was so excited when I got the email that I was getting an ARC of this book. Ecstatic. Thankfully, the book was just as amazing as I thought it would be.

Beck Wilder, who we met in book one (better know as “The Rebel”) is in a rut. He hasn’t been with a woman in a really long time and he starting to feel ready. When his friend Chris suggest he come to a wedding in Key West with him and crash, Beck decides it a good idea.

Rylee Ryan is a romance author who lives in Maine. Rylee has had a tough year, and her friend suggests that she come to a wedding in Key West and crash. She hesitantly agrees.

You can imagine what happens from there. Beck and Rylee meet, hilariously, when Rylee takes a shower in Beck’s room after having been puked on during her flight (the same flight, ironically, that Beck is on – he witnesses said vomiting). She walks out of the shower to see Beck standing in the doorway, staring at her nakedness.

Beck and Rylee quickly discover they are both crashing the wedding, and decide to have a little fun while in Florida. They have great chemistry, and hilarious banter. While hanging out, they make up hilarious stories that they tell people about themselves. I laughed out loud several times.

But they both had a back story – we knew this from Beck, but we didn’t know what his story was. It was a doozy, and made him even more likable. Rylee’s back story wasn’t predictable, but when it was revealed, I wasn’t surprised (but I was disappointed) in how she acted.

Both Beck and Rylee’s friends, who played side roles in the book, were great. I especially loved Victoria, a historical fiction author who seemed stuck in the 1800’s. So much funny back and forth banter between all the characters. This book had it all.

I would recommend this book to anyone.

I liked 3 Blind Dates so much, I immediately jumped into this one. To be honest, I guess I thought I would love it, but was a bit disappointed, It’s not a bad book at all, I just enjoyed book one so much, I suppose I had higher expectations for this one. Still, it was a cute book and I’m glad I picked it up.

Anyone who knows me or reads my reviews, knows that I am HUGE Meghan Quinn fan - and I mean HUGE!!! She writes it, I am reading it without a clue to what's it about. SIGN ME UP!! And this book was no different, however, I did know what it was about - Beck.

We met Beck in her book, Three Blind Dates. No, you don't need to read that book first, but I highly recommend it just because you get that initial meeting of Beck and what is to come in this one. Beck was my runner-up in choices for Three Blind Dates (read it to find out what I mean) and I was so excited to know that his book was next after finishing it.

I really do not even know how to describe Beck except to say that he is he deep yet knows how to live life fully. He was so much more than I expected and I love getting to know this character more. He is the perfect match for Rylee.

"Sometimes you have to take a chance on something that makes you happy, regardless of the unknown."

Beck has been pushing forward after some dark times in his life but his friends find that he doesn't do much else aside from his work and passions. They want him to get back into the dating pool and have fun again. After a bum go on a blind date (again, read Three Blind Dates to see what happens), he is very hesitant to put himself out there. So his friends come up with the idea to go to Key West with them, crash a wedding they're attending and maybe hook up with a single lady while enjoying the time away.

Rylee has been living life in the shadows and only recently started to come back to herself. She is a romance author who finds herself staring down a deadline with writers block in her path of completion. Zoey and Victoria are her best friends and writing buddies trying to help Rylee get her mojo back, but nothing seems to be working. Then the girls come up with a plan to have Rylee Crash a wedding that Zoey and Victoria are attending to see if that get Rylee's groove back.

You can see where this is going - yes, Rylee and Beck meet. Their vacation fling is amazing. And even when they return to their lives, things just keep getting better. These two together was so funny and natural to watch. Things moved at a decent pace and nothing was rushed, which I enjoyed. Rylee is dead set on keeping things light and easy, Beck has other intentions.

Beck has no problems holding back on what he is feeling - he just lays it all out. Let me tell you, I am impressed by Rylee's self control - if a man talked dirty to me like that when I was single, I would be climbing that man like a damn monkey - just saying. But he is also sweet and enduring, which is something new for Rylee to have directed at her from a man.

Rylee is really out of her element when it comes to Beck. He's what she writes about, not what she gets in real life. I love that she is cautious yet flirtatious and tries her damn best to not get caught up in everything. But Beck just never gives up and that makes it harder each day for Rylee to walk away.

The Wedding Crashers is definitely a slow-burn romance. Meghan moves this book at the perfect pace though. Everything happens within a few months, but with the way Meghan has it all play out, it feels like so much longer (and that's a good thing). It's not boring, it's natural progression of things and that just makes it even more intense and intriguing. I agree at times, I wanted things to move a bit faster, but in the end, I was so glad that it didn't.

Meghan has written another amazing story with great characters that you will find yourself loving from the second you meet them. I almost feel like I know these characters personally and want all the best for them. Bravo Meghan!
