Public Comment Opens April 24, 2024 for Draft Transportation Conformity Determination

The New York Metropolitan Transportation Council (NYMTC) has prepared a draft Transportation Conformity Determination under the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990. A thirty-day public comment period for the draft Transportation Conformity Determination will begin on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, and end at 4PM on Thursday, May 23, 2024. During the comment period, Virtual Public Review Meetings to gather public commentary will be held on May 2, at 12PM and 6PM.

Public Comment Opens April 24, 2024 for the Adjusted 2055 Socioeconomic and Demographic Forecasts

The New York Metropolitan Transportation Council (NYMTC) has made adjustments to the 2055 Socioeconomic and Demographic Forecasts for use in various planning studies and travel demand analyses. A thirty-day public comment period for the draft adjusted forecasts and associated technical memorandum will begin on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, and end at 4PM on Thursday, May 23, 2024. During the comment period, Virtual Public Review Meetings to gather public commentary will be held on May 9, at 12PM and 6PM.  The comment period provides the opportunity for public feedback on these Adjusted Forecasts.

Public Comment Opens April 17, 2024 for Proposed Amendments to the TIP

The New York Metropolitan Transportation Council (NYMTC) announces a public comment period for proposed amendments to the Federal Fiscal Year 2023-2027 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The comment period begins on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 and ends at 4 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2024. The comment period provides the opportunity for public feedback on the proposed changes to the TIP.
