How to apply for return from a general leave of absence: Apply on-line 2. Application Dates: Monday, June 24, 2019 ~ Friday, June 29, 2019 3. Application Procedure: a. Sejong University Academic Affairs System > Application for Registrar Change > Apply (Refer to the attached manual) b. Students on a leave of absence can print out the registration fee bill after he/she applies for a return from their leave of absence. c. The procedure for return from a leave of absence is successfully done when you complete your payment of the tuition fees and register for courses within the designated dates. - Course Registration Dates: Monday, August 19 2019 ~ Friday, August 23, 2019 - Tuition Fee Payment Dates: Monday, August 26, 2019 ~ Friday, August 30, 2019 d. If a student completes their application to return to the university and pays the tuition fees, their school registration status is changed from “leave of absence” to “enrolled” on the first afternoon when the semester begins (September 2, 2019) 4. Course Registration a. The Returnee must complete course registration within the designated dates for each individual academic year (Please check ‘Course Calendar’ on the Academic Affair Notifications for the Academic Affairs Service) b. It is highly recommended that students confirm whether he/she needs to retake a specific course and/or it is overlapped by checking courses they already completed before. c. Please know that it is an automatic academic probation to register courses less than the minimum required credits per semester (6 credits; 3 credits for last semester) by the add/drop period. d. Inquiries: Office of Academic Affairs (02-3408-3038) 5. Notes a. If any submitted materials contain false information, your return from a leave of absence will be rescinded. b. If any students who do not return to university after the deadline of their leave period, they will be expelled from the university according to school regulations.
