Poudre High School's Tate Satterfield celebrates his third quarter touchdown against Cherokee Trail High School on Friday evening in Aurora.

Each week, readers can submit player of the week candidates. Coloradoan sports staff will pick the final two, then readers vote on Twitter at @ColoradoanSpts and Instagram at @coloradoan, starting on Tuesdays.

And the winner is ... Poudre's Tate Satterfield

The Impala senior running back scored four touchdowns — three rushing and one receiving — in a playoff-clinching 35-14 win over rival Fossil Ridge. In 10 games this season, he rushed for 1,109 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Satterfield scored two touchdowns in Friday night's double overtime loss to Cherokee Trail in the first round of the state playoffs.

Second

Fossil Ridge senior volleyball player Mataya Megson has been a solid force all season for the No. 5 seed SaberCats. She had .40 kills, including 13 against Class 4A power Lewis-Palmer, and 29 blocks to led team to 3-1 week.

Rocky Mountain cross country runner Conner Culhane was last week's winner.
