THE COMMITTEE ON BANKING, HOUSING, AND URBAN AFFAIRS will meet in OPEN SESSION to conduct a hearing on “An Overview of the Credit Bureaus and the Fair Credit Reporting Act.”  The witnesses will be Ms. Peggy L. Twohig, Assistant Director, Supervision Policy, Division of Supervision, Enforcement and Fair Lending, Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection; and Ms. Maneesha Mithal, Associate Director, Division of Privacy and Identity Protection, Bureau of Consumer Protection, Federal Trade Commission.
