The Secretary-General welcomes the Comprehensive Development Plan that translates the efforts spearheaded by Mexico to respond to the fundamental causes of human mobility coming from Central America and to guarantee access to asylum for those in need of international protection in close collaboration with the governments of Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras.
The Secretary General expresses his appreciation for the invitation that the government of Mexico has extended for agencies, funds and programmes to support the implementation of the Comprehensive Development Plan elaborated together with the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) and humanitarian and protection responses.
The United Nations reiterates its commitment to support the coordinated action of all agencies, funds and programmes to ensure the implementation of the Plan in close collaboration with the four countries involved.

El Secretario General de Naciones Unidas da la bienvenida al Plan de Desarrollo Integral que refleja los esfuerzos encabezados por los Estados Unidos Mexicanos para responder a las causas fundamentales de la movilidad humana en Centroamérica y para garantizar el acceso al asilo para las personas que necesitan protección internacional en estrecha coordinación con los Gobiernos de la República de El Salvador, la República Guatemala y la República Honduras.
El Secretario General expresa su aprecio por la invitación que el gobierno de México ha extendido a las agencias, fondos y programas para apoyar la implementación del Plan de Desarrollo Integral elaborado junto con la Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL), así como para el cumplimiento de las respuestas humanitarias y de protección.
Las Naciones Unidas reiteran su compromiso para apoyar la acción de todas sus agencias, fondos y programas para asegurar la implementación del Plan en estrecha colaboración con los cuatro países involucrados.
