Heartbreak Duet #1

Heartbreak Me

Rate this book
He kidnapped me.
That was how I met Atlas Hyde.
A man known by many names and admired by all.
But most didn’t know he was ruthless, conniving, and always got what he wanted.
No matter the cost.

I was a good girl.
Never in trouble with the law.
Never took drugs.
Always did precisely what was expected of me.

Even with his hand around my throat and words that cut sharper than knives, I couldn’t help but wonder what happened to this beautiful man to make him that way.

That wonder disappeared when he threatened to kill my sister if I didn’t follow his dark demands.

The good girl I once knew had now been buried alive beneath this game of hatred and lust.
And I had a feeling Atlas Hyde never lost.

Terrific dark blackmail romance!

I enjoyed this dark romance which started out as a captive romance but ended up being more of a blackmail romance. The Hero, Atlas is owed over a million dollars from the heroine Theadora’s sister. Atlas is holding the sister, Lucy and threatens to kill her if Theodora doesn’t pay him back the money. She can’t pay, so he has her work it off by doing tasks for him.

Atlas has his hands in a lot of illegal activity and owns some legitimate businesses as well, the main one is a Casino he built from the ground up. He likes to always know what his enemies are up to and he uses people like Lucy and Theadora to his advantage. Like having them distract big winners at the casino so they start losing, or attend society functions and listen in on conversations of his rivals. He is not above having a woman use her body to get information he needs.

Atlas grew up with only his father after his mother left when he was just a baby. His father was abusive and merciless and Atlas vowed never to be like his father. He has rules to live by and he never gets involved with women other than for immediate gratification. However, his attraction to Theadora threatens his rules.

Atlas is brutal and cruel but also super hot. He is tall, tatted and tantalizing, a combination which Theadora finds herself attracted to despite herself, even though she wants him out of her life as quickly as possible. Atlas proves to also be very possessive and when he considers something his, he doesn’t allow anyone to get in his way.

The book certainly held my interest the entire time. The romance was steamy but not as steamy as many dark romance books I have read. I give it a heat index of three out of five flames (🔥🔥🔥). However the storylines about Thea’s sister and Atlas’s fear of commitment were extremely good. I didn’t completely understand one part of the ending though. Hopefully my questions will be answered in the next book. It was a cliffhanger so it should pick up right away.

I voluntarily read & reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts & opinions are my own.

4 Indebted Stars

So If I’m going to be bluntly honest, I had no hopes for this book when I first started it. And I blame the last debt book I read for this feeling. I thought this would be the same you know? She will open her legs for him and then fall in love so will the Male lead because who doesn’t love a magic pussy. But I was proven wrong. Which I am VERY happy about because I would have cried otherwise.

The book starts off with Theadora being kidnapped where she meets Atlas. He informs her, Lucy (Theadora’s sister) stole over a million dollars from him and now she is responsible to pay him back or else he will kill Lucy.

Theadora is a store manager who can’t afford to pay him the amount so Atlas offers her an alternative, lol no it’s not sex THANK GOD, she had to do some specific non sex related work for him to pay the debt off.

Well until the lines between Atlas and Theadora start to get blurred and no matter how many times Theadora pushes Atlas away he ends up finding ways to talk to her or show up at her house.

And Atlas is in trouble because he believes Theadora will break all the rules he has set for himself.

1. Do not fall in love.
2. Never let women dictate who you are.
3. They will bring you down and crush you while taking your money.
4. Business above all else.
5. My gun doesn’t aim unless you betray me.

Will they both give in to their desires? Or will they continue to push each other away until there is no coming back. The book ends up with a SHOCKING cliffhanger I DID NOT SEE COMING. The last chapter I was like wait WHAAAT THE FUUCCCCCOKKKKKK JUST HAPPEND.
And now I have to wait till 25th August for the next book to come out. Great.

Characters
Theadora is my favorite character in this book because omg did that girl have a mouth. She didn’t back down from Atlas, gave him shit whenever required and tried her best to push him away from her.

Atlas, I have a love - hate relationship with him. When I finally start liking him he would do or mostly say something to piss me the fuck off.

Lucy, I hate that selfish bitch. She doesn’t deserve a sister like Theadora. That’s all I’m going to say about her.

I wasn't quite sure what I was getting myself into with this read. I went with the flow and was pleasantly surprised.

Theadora is kidnapped and terrified. She isn't sure who took her or why. Soon she finds out, it was the one and only Atlas. He is feared by many and if you aren't you're fooling yourself. He is not a man you cross and live to tell the story.

She is being forced to pay off the debt that her selfish sister has with him. In exchange, he won't kill her sister (or her for that matter). He doesn't really give her an out since she wants to remain breathing so she agrees to be his pawn until the debt is paid. Until he has had his fill. She is mouthy and new so he is into the challenge.

The attraction between them is forged on hate, but lust plays a big part as well. They want to remain enemies, but slowly they test the waters of a enemy with benefits relationship. Atlas has many layers - he is tough as nails, but we do see a softer side peek through at times. Those instances were sweet, but they didn't last long. He is a hard man to crack. He was built that way and built his empire to not ever crumble.

Things don't always go so smoothly with them and there are lots of players in the game with ill intentions towards Atlas and also with Theadora. It's like to 2 steps forward and 3 steps back with them sometimes. Atlas holds his cards close to his chest and doesn't share much of what he is thinking or feeling. Thea wants him to trust her and be more open, like she is attempting to do with him.
Atlas is all consuming. He controls the room, the people and the situation. He only finds himself losing this battle when it comes to Thea.

“𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝗱. 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱, 𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲.”

There are lots of twists and turns. Many secrets and many out for only themselves. So many things left unanswered. Can you say... Cliffhanger!

Heartbreak Me by T.L. Smith is book one in the Heartbreak Duet. This book will have you salivating from your very own finger tips and will have you devouring the authors words as you read through this book.

I had the pages read faster then a hoe spreads her legs, this book just captivated my attention. If enemies to lovers with a side of kidnapping, blackmailing is your type of thang. Then this book will be right up your alley.

I went into this book not knowing what I was going to expect, quite frankly I had only read the blurb and to be honest I was obsessed with this cover that I just had to read this book. This author has a way with giving us the most unexpected things when it comes to her books, in a way that’s what us readers love about her.

In this book we meet Atlas and Theodora and this is their perfectly imperfect love story. Sometimes the imperfect love stories are the best kind.

Atlas.. Holy Crap! I wouldn’t mind having a piece of that on me, with me, in me. He just oozes so much sex appeal with all those tattoos and those 2 nose rings. Atlas is a force to be reckoned with, he oozes power and when he wants something, he gets it. No matter at what cost. Thea was meant to be a means to an end, a debt that was to be paid. Little did he expect along the way that she would slowly sink your claws inside him and make him want her. Atlas is a puzzle that you can’t help but want to piece together to find out every piece that makes it whole.

“Atlas is a man who shows next to no emotion. But when you do get a glimpse of those very few other emotions—not the usual anger— you get lost in soaking it all in”.

Thea.. I may have a girl crush on her. She has absolutely no filter and speaks what’s on her mind and tells you like it is. She is so sassy, and will not take any crap from nobody especially Atlas. The man who holds the power of her in the crutches of his hands. Thea is so career driven that she has become so successful due to all the hard work she puts in. Along the way, lines become blurred. The hate she is feeling is slowly dissipating and feelings are coming on strong.

“Theodora has a temper, she’s feisty, and her eyes look at me as if she’s trying to work out my - best kept secrets”.

Together these characters are fire and ice, they are complete havoc but you can’t deny the attraction that these two have. It just intensifies each time they are in the same room. The look of hunger and the need to shed each other’s clothes off.

The twist and turns took me by surprise.. To be honest I wasn’t expecting them what so ever. It completely knocked me on my ass. All was going good and then wam, bam, thank you mam, a cliffhanger swooped in.

“Atlas did as he said he would. He’s heartbroken me, so now it’s my turn to heartbreak me”.

Prepare yourself for wanting more, needing more and begging for more. I only hope that the conclusion to Atlas and Theodora Story is around the corner.

*ARC received in exchange for an honest review, all thoughts and opinions are my own*.

Well, all I want is the second book. I need to know what' will happen next I don’t have the ability of delayed gratification. Well, first of all, I love the author very much I've fallen in love with her ever since the 'Colors' series. And I just don't know what else this writer can do besides drive us crazy with such mind-blowing books. And how I like to say squeeze my organs 😄 Yes yes. I'll keep saying it. That's my definition! Oh that was so good! The story itself starts with kidnapping 😏 Oh how much I love it 🤗 Some darkness in your life people!!! What wrong??!!

Have you ever thought what would happen to you sitting in the office and suddenly someone kidnap you? Oh yeah depends on who is he? 😏

🤐 "𝑰’𝒗𝒆 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒃𝒐𝒅𝒚 𝒍𝒐𝒌𝒔 𝒖𝒑, 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒃𝒆 𝒓𝒖𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒔𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒂𝒏𝒚𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆." 🤐

Theadora is exactly the kind of female characters I like. With courage, wisdom, and with a backbone. Not every "stud" man is the right man. And not every man is like a characters in the books she reads. Sometimes, life is not perfect. And sometimes, we are also getting kidnapped. 🤐

She finds herself in a black hole. A hood covers her face and she doesn't know where she is. She only hears the voices of the men who kidnapped her. And when they take off her hood, she finds herself in front of a powerful, tattooed, sturdy man. The man that she didn't dream of. 🤤😝

😱 "𝑨 𝒅𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒍 𝒅𝒐𝒆𝒔𝒏’𝒕 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒅. 𝑯𝒆 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒔 𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒍 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒊𝒔 𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒆𝒅. 𝑰 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌 𝒔𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒂𝒚 𝒃𝒆 𝒎𝒚 𝒇𝒂𝒗𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒚𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒚𝒆𝒕. 𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝑰 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒚 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒎𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒊𝒕 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒉𝒆𝒓." 😱

Atlas, the man responsible for Theadora's kidnapping. He collects debt from her. A debt she needs to pay. But, he uses her as the payment to follow his every command. To gamble for him. And lure his enemies.

The sexual tension that was there! I felt like I got stings in my stomach when it was 😱 Oh my god🔥🔥 so... If you love Enemies-To-Lovers it's for U! The plot in the story was so good. And above all this book was sexy, a romantic book I just fell in love with. The combination of romance, with a bit of darkness, and even quarrels of 'hate' style that just made me laugh. 🤣🤣

Theadora goes on a journey and discover a lot of secrets. A new world she didn't know about then. A world of gambling, prostitution, casino and alcohol. The good girl who came from a good house is finding out about the New World of her kidnapper Atlas Hyde.

💔 "𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒌 𝒎𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒌 𝒚𝒐𝒖 , 𝑨𝒕𝒍𝒂𝒔 𝑯𝒚𝒅𝒆. 𝑰’𝒗𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒅 𝒆𝒏𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝒎𝒆 𝒂 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒏𝒆𝒙𝒕 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒉𝒖𝒓𝒕𝒔 𝒎𝒆, 𝑰 𝒘𝒐𝒏’𝒕 𝒔𝒊𝒕 𝒃𝒚 𝒊𝒅𝒍𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒍𝒆𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎." 💔

Will she survive? Are all the duties she does for her sister really true? Or that everything she thought about people. Is that true at all?

In conclusion, I loved the book so much and eagerly waiting for the next book. I wait for it to come out and then some things that didn't sit with me in the first book will hopefully make sense in the second book. TL's writing was so good that I found myself sitting and just reading for hours until I finished it. The plot flowed so well for me and made me feel like: “I must know what's going on in the next few pages ...” and it made me want to get to the end of the book and understand ... that there is a second book!!!!!!!!! 😱
And I must get him 😈🔥

The author delivers one sexy, irresistible anti-hero that you will LOVE!!! And an ending that left me stunned!

Thea never expects to be kidnapped by the hottest guy she has ever seen. Her troubled sister really did it this time and now Thea is tasked with paying the debt to save her sister’s life.

Thea is sassy. She doesn’t care about the power that Atlas holds, she won’t take his crap. She’ll work off the debt, but she bends for no man. She is a successful, hard-working, good girl. She never expected to be in this situation. So what if she can’t stop thinking about tearing his clothes off? She just wants her life back.

Atlas is a force. He wields power like a seasoned warrior. He knows what he wants and he knows exactly how to get it. Thea was just supposed to be a means to an end. Nothing more, nothing less. He never expected her to get under his skin, so much so that he wanted to keep her.

The author will make you want him, even though you know he’s bad for you. Atlas is complex and won’t show his hand easily. Loyalty and the truth are things he demands. He is not a man you want to cross, but he is a man you can’t resist. Thea does her best, but even she cannot deny their chemistry. These two together are smokin’ hottt! Atlas is not an easy man to live with, but is he the man Thea can’t live without? Get swept into this enemies to lovers dark romance that will leave you shocked.

Okay, I paused to life and I realized I was so engrossed in this story that I was over halfway through this book! That's how good it was!

This book opens with Theadora already kidnapped by Atlas,  her younger sister stole from him and he took her to force her to pay her sister's debt. Of course, she does have the money for a debt so large, so he tells her she'll have to pay it back by working for him.
But she has no idea what he wants from her.

NO! This ended on a cliffhanger! How long do I have to wait until the next book is out!

I need more! This book captivated me from the start. It starts of with a bang. Our heroine Thea is kidnapped and forced to pay of the dept her sister made. It‘s a high price she has to pay and she goes through hell to help her undeserving sister.

T.L. Smith sucked me into this story with a strong, independant heroine who is one of the kindest people. Naturally she wants to save her sister. Even though the sister quickly becomes one of my least favourite characters.

Atlas is this very serious and dangerous guy. He owns alot of different companies including a casino where he sells drugs and women. He‘s such a dark character with a dark past that has yet to be revealed.

Both characters struggle heavily with their attraction to eachother and when more and more is unraveled it is undeniable that those to are destined to be with eachother. The first half of this duet ends with a cliffhanger which surprised me very since I didn‘t see it coming nor did I really understand the reasoning behind how certain characters reacted. But I hope it all will be uncovered in the next part.

This book grabbed me from the very first paragraph. I couldn’t even put it down till I finished it! That ending!! What. The. Hell. I need the next book immediately.

I love Atlas (love the name too) but also screamed what the **** at him at the end. I love that T.L. makes her main male character usually such a badass, not great guy. Always makes for such a surprising great read!

I know how it feels to be the older sister trying to look after the younger sister & all I have to say is Thea goes above & beyond. Like I would want to hit her with my car if that was my sister.

The ending was insane. Never did I see that coming. You definitely need to give this book a read but it does end on a cliffhanger so keep that in mind!

I received an arc of this book in return for an honest review.

ALL MY REVIEWS CAN BE FOUND ON MY BLOG: ABSTRACT BOOKS

Heart break me is the first part of the Heartbreak Duet written by T.L. Smith. Told in dual perspectives, this was one amazing black mail romance!!!

This was the first book that I have read by this author. I am a personal fan of how she gives us amazing stories with amazing storylines and marvelous characters!!

Here we get to meet Atlas and Theodora.
Atlas owns a lot of money from Theodora's sister Lucy and has kidnapped her and is asking Theodora to pay him back. Theodora does not have the money , so she does taska for him instead. Atlas was one master manipulator and I loved every second of it!

Atlas grew up in a harsh environment with his father being an abusive asshole. He has a set of rules that keeps his life on track. One of his rules is to never let a woman dictate his life. However after some time he gets close to Theodora and realises that this woman can ruin all of his rules and he might even let her! This book was one gripping dark tale and had me hooked right from the start! It was a cliffhanger and I can't wait for the next book!

I would recommend this book to all the dark Romance lovers , with addiction to themes like blackmail and kidnapping!

While the book started out good and generally held my attention, I constantly felt as though something was missing. The connection between the two main characters was lacking for me. For the most part, I did like both characters on their own. Although sometimes I did wish that Thea put up more of a fight against Atlas at times. I did like the overall plot/story and the book ends on a cliffhanger so I will likely continue reading to see where the story goes.

Side Note: there was a scene where two people kissed almost immediately after one of them threw up and I just could not get over that.

I liked it a lot but that's the middle of the story so we'll see how it goes from here.
But I'm hopeful.

Soooo ... about the storyline.

He kidnaps her because her bitchy, heartless sister stole from him and instead of killing her, he makes her work off the debt.
And NOT by being his sex slave or anything of that sort which was really refreshing and I loved it.

The heroine, Thea, is likeable.
She is not a mousy type but she isn't a spoiled air-headed bimbo, either.
She is just a normal girl.
Smart, caring, independent.

The hero was ok but he was all over the place.

Their hot 'n cold game was not exactly what I was in a mood for, but I gotta give credit to the heroine who didn't jump his bones the first chance she had and she was very clear about her boundaries and the fact that she wanted nothing to do with him.

Well, until she wasn't.
(I was kinda hoping she would be stronger than that.)

And the fact that they finally boinked the shit outta each other didn't change the hero's heart was kind of a letdown.

Because it was clear he was into her from the get-go and he was trying to do everything to forget about her and move on.

The scene where Thea sees him being sucked off by some random chick?
Well, let's just say that wasn't my favourite.

But he does eventually come around and finally admits that he wants her and they both stay in their blissful, drama-free and sex-induced coma for a few days.

But we all know that shit has to hit the fan if there is book 2, and that's exactly what happens.

I won't get into details about the ending because once you get there, it's your choice if you wanna continue or not.

I am already on book 2 so fingers crossed and Lord may have mercy on me because I really want to murder Lucy, the entitled bitch of a sister. lol.

Well now, this was a dark and intense ride I was not expecting. Heartbreak Me had me captivated from the start and I could not put it down. This enemies to lovers/blackmail novel was a slow burn, dark romance between a strong, independent, kind heroine and a dark, ruthless, dangerous anti-hero. These characters were complex and have nothing in common but the chemistry between Thea and Atlas was intense and just kept getting stronger as time passed. There was a cast of secondary characters you will both love and hate who helped to move the story forward.
The plot was well written, layered and flowed well. Filled with drama, steam, and unexpected twists and turns, this novel will take you on a dark yet delicious roller coaster ride and the shocking cliff hanger ending will leave you with questions and anxious for more. I can't wait to see what the author has in store for us in the next book. Heartbreak Me was a fantastic read and I would highly recommend it to all lovers of dark romance.

ARC REVIEW

GAHHHHHH!!!! Mrs Smith!!!!! Wow.

I went in to this book not knowing what to expect, because let's face it, you just don't know what to expect when you dive head first into one of TL Smith's books. And it's the way we love it. Her writing is unpredictable and exciting. And I love every single tiny second of it. I am addicted. This story trapped me in quick.

Atlas....holy heck that is one fine man. I wouldn't mind me a piece of Atlas. SO dark, so formidable, so sexy! What more could you want? If I was the heroine I would be all over him! But this was true enemies to lovers and the hate between these two sizzled all the more. So hot.
Theadora is a good girl, she isn't at all bad. I love that she is the opposite of our hero. It makes the fight all the more fun! These two are so freaking hot. Burning up my kindle.

The twists and turns took me by surprise. I wasn't expecting what happened at all.. and I was so hooked I didn't even notice it was coming to an end and then BAM... the end, and I could have cried, and screamed!!! I need more so bad. Only a little wait to go but eeep.... I can't wait. I am so excited to see what happens next. I am so ready for more Atlas.

Decadent and Delicious

This book was my three D's, decadent, dark, and delicious, and eventually the other D too. This book started out fast-paced. From the first sentences, the tone of the story was set and it progressed from there.

Theodora and Atlas were compelling and dynamic in who they were as characters, I appreciated that Thea, despite being a good girl, was no pushover. She had a fiery temper and didn't hold back. Atlas was an enigma. Even still at the end of the book, I have no idea what he is all about. I hated him at times but mostly, I am trying to figure out what his game is. There has to be more to the blackmailing in him. There are a lot of pieces to the puzzle and I am pretty confused. some of the answers were given but not really in regard to the whole picture of what is going on.

This ends on a cliffhanger that left me really confuddled in regards to Atlas again. Looking forward to the next book. Off-topic, the steamy times, one in particular, were HOT.

Gah T.L. Smith what are you doing to me? I need the next book ASAP. Heartbreak Me is an amazing book with fascinating characters. This author is the queen of writing strong, hot alpha men that you want to hate but can't help falling in love with. This definitely fits the bill for Atlas who is one of my favorites of hers. I also loved how Theadora is feisty, brave, and has to overcome her fears if she wants to save her sister. And, there's a huge mind twist that will leave you craving for more. Highly, highly, highly recommend this book!

Theodora is a bad situation do a debt her sister has and now she’s stuck with Atlas who is forcing her to pay it off. These two have a attraction that’s off the charts even though they know it’s not the best idea. I am dying for the next book with how this one ended!!!

“A devil doesn’t show his hand. He plays his cards until the winning hand is revealed. I think she may be my favourite playing card yet.”

Atlas Hyde... a man of few words and many secrets. He is powerful, commanding respect and fear in equal measure. Taking Thea to pay off her sister’s debt his plan changes as he starts to realise she is nothing like he expected her to be. This is a story of a debt owed and a man that always gets what he wants regardless of who he has to destroy in the process. It’s a web of deceit and half truths, his motives vague and unyielding. Putting Thea through her paces she reveals herself to be strong and sassy, unexpected and challenging. Her whole world is turned upside down and inside out by her sister who is narcissistic and just cruel. This story ends in the most dramatic ways and I need the next part now. The characters evolve throughout the story but the ending is shocking and leaves them as they began, distant and cold. I loved the plot, the mind f@ckery and left with so many questions but mainly who is Atlas Hyde?

A five star heartbreaking read.
