Article Image Hope Restored - Help for people in need in Conwy
Hope Restored was started by Brenda Fogg in 2010. The scheme offers a wide range of help and advice to make the lives of homeless and needy people in the Llandudno area just that little bit more bearable.  Support is available all year round – not just at Christmas.

They have twice weekly drop in sessions at the Lighthouse Community Church in Llandudno on Tuesdays and Friday (9.30am – 12.00pm) providing hot meals and support.

Their latest service is ‘Bag of Hope’ food parcels. This service is available to anyone who is struggling to feed themselves or their family.  If you would like to donate, there are several collection points in Conwy County including Asda and TK Maxx.

Please see the Facebook page for full details.

Article Image Shop Local First this Christmas
Please remember to support your local shops this Christmas.

Small independent businesses are really important, so please do some of your Christmas shopping with them.

You will be helping to put money back into the local economy, along with supporting local businesses.

Remember, local shops aren’t just for Christmas.  If we don’t continue to support them over the next twelve months, they might not be there at all this time next year

Article Image New Brexit Portal to support business

The new Business Wales Brexit Portal has been designed to provide companies in Wales with up-to-date information and advice on a range of crucial issues including international trading and workforce planning.

It also includes a diagnostic tool that helps businesses to identify how prepared they are for Brexit, recommends actions they should take to increase their resilience and signposts them to additional sources of support.

The new Brexit portal builds on the advice and guidance that has been provided to Welsh companies by both the Welsh Government and Business Wales since the referendum.

It has been designed to make it as easy as possible for business to access the most up to date information and support that they need.

The Welsh Government has also formally launched a £1million Brexit Resilience Fund which is available to Welsh businesses, to help them adapt to the changes in a post-Brexit Welsh economy.

For further information please visit the Brexit Portal .
