Rock Row's first outdoor concert draws noise complaints

THE CONCERT PROMOTER SAYS HE WANTS TO BE A GOOD NEIGHBOR - IT'S GOING TO TAKE A FEW CONCERTS AND SEVERAL ADJUSTMENTS TO GET IT JUST RIGHT SO THE NOISE ISN'T OFFENSIVE. <> "AS THIS SITE LOADS, AS THIS DEVELOPMENT TAKES HOLD AND BECOMES WHAT IT'S GOING TO BE LONG TERM - THERE'S GOING TO BE A LOT BETWEEN US AND THEM. RIGHT NOW, THERE'S A WHOLE LOT OF NOTHING." WHEN ROCK ROW IS COMPLETED - ALL OF THE ADDED BUILDINGS SURROUNDING THE VENUE SHOULD HELP CUSHION THE NOISE. Rock Row's first outdoor concert draws noise complaints
The developers of Rock Row in Westbrook have apologized after several neighbors filed noise complaints after the first outdoor concert at the new facility.The ampitheater is the first part of the Rock Row development project. The concert venue is scheduled to host several shows over the summer.Rock Row apologized in a statement for noise caused by Sunday's concert."Very sorry if you were inconvenienced by last night's concert. We are working with the City of Westbrook to make adjustments based on your feedback," the statement said.The next concert at the venue is scheduled for June 15.
