NEW FAMILY LAW PARTNER AT LAVAN

Lavan is pleased to announce the appointment of Natalie Kam as a partner in our family law team.
 
Natalie is an accredited family law specialist and has extensive experience in all areas of family law with particular experience in high net worth and complex property settlements, financial agreements, international family law and parenting matters.

Lavan is also pleased to announce the following promotions and appointments:
Mona Gill is promoted to special counsel in Lavan's Corporate team. Mona regularly advises on a range of corporate and commercial transactions including regulated and unregulated mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, syndications and restructurings for various listed, unlisted and government clients.   Prior to joining Lavan, Mona worked at ASIC in financial services regulation, and regularly advises on corporate governance matters and compliance with the Listing Rules and the Corporations Act.  Mona also holds a Masters in Tax, and is often involved in tax structuring and advice in respect of various commercial transactions. 
Jeffrey Malone is promoted to the role of special counsel in Lavan's Reconstruction, Recovery and Insolvency team. Jeffrey is experienced in corporate insolvency, dispute resolution and litigation, having acted for insolvency practitioners, financial institutions and companies in a range of sectors. Jeffrey has acted on a number of substantial and complex restructuring mandates and regularly conducts litigation in the superior courts in Western Australia. 
Dragana Blackwood becomes a senior associate in Lavan's Family Law team. Dragana practises in all aspects of family law, advising and representing clients at all stages of disputes, including alternative dispute resolution and litigation. Having been a Nationally Accredited Mediator, Dragana is highly skilled in enhancing negotiations and resolving matters amicably, where the circumstances allow.
Ahshiba Sultana is promoted to the role of senior associate in Lavan's Construction & Infrastructure team. Ahshiba’s experience in litigation extends to construction and commercial disputes. She regularly acts for civil contractors in litigious construction matters in judicial proceedings and is also experienced in dispute resolution. Prior to specialising in construction law, Ahshiba practised as a commercial litigator in Lavan’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution team.
Tegan Healey is promoted to the role of associate in Lavan’s Reconstruction, Recovery & Insolvency team. Tegan has experience in all matters associated with external administrations, including large scale liquidations and administrations across the country.  Tegan regularly advises insolvency practitioners and lenders on restructuring strategies and personal property securities related issues.  Tegan also has a broad range of experience in litigation, including in relation to deeds of company arrangements, voidable transactions and injunctions.
Claudie Hughes becomes an associate in Lavan's Property & Leasing team. Claudie has worked on a variety of transactions which involved advising corporations, financiers, developers and governments in relation to property developments and joint ventures, sales and acquisitions of commercial and industrial premises, property financing and finance law and general property law, including leasing and due diligence.
Jemma Huntsman is promoted to the role of associate in Lavan's Reconstruction, Recovery & Insolvency team. Jemma has experience in providing advice to insolvency practitioners and financial institutions on group structures, enforcement strategies and recovery.  Jemma’s experience has included commercial litigation in the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the Federal Court of Australia in a variety of matters, most significantly in defended liquidator claims.
Alexandra Johns-Putra becomes an associate in Lavan's Property & Leasing team. Alexandra practises in all areas of property law including commercial and retail leasing and transactional property matters such as the acquisition and disposal of assets. Alexandra has experience in the preparation of commercial leases, sale contracts, option deeds, access and licence agreements and general commercial matters related to land transactions.
Raj Logarajah joins Lavan as an associate in the Property and Leasing team.  He brings experience in general property matters including acquisitions and disposal, advising on property taxation matters and the preparation of commercial property leases. Raj is also experienced in drafting applications and documentation required for the subdivision of land for development and has advised one of the largest property developers in Australia.
Amanda Meloni becomes an associate in Lavan’s Corporate Services team.  Amanda has experience working on a variety of corporate and commercial matters including providing advice on and preparing banking and finance agreements, regulated and unregulated mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, schemes of arrangement, initial public offerings, reverse takeover offers and advising on tax and duty.  Amanda has worked across a variety of industries, including energy and infrastructure and mining and resources.
Jean-Marc Papineau is promoted to the role of associate in Lavan's Property & Leasing team. Jean-Marc practises in the area of commercial property and specialises in the acquisition and disposal of property assets, due diligence and the financing of projects. Jean-Marc has experience acting for land developers and landlords in relation to both large and small developments, joint ventures and retail and commercial leasing.
 
Tristan Seymour becomes an associate in Lavan's Education & Employment team. Tristan has experience in a broad range of employment, education and industrial relations matters including enterprise bargaining, duty of care, employment contracts, unfair dismissals, bullying matters, adverse actions, workplace injuries, discrimination and personal injury claims.
