Did you know the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort are filled with not only marvelous sights and festive sounds, but also wonderful scents to smell, things to feel with your hands and delectable treats to taste? We toured around the parks to engage our five senses and here is what you can discover:

See the shimmering “A Christmas Fantasy” Parade

Throughout the resort, you can see all sorts of gorgeous décor for the holidays. One of the many beloved sights to see is this classic holiday parade at Disneyland park, filled with holiday cheer. If you decide to watch the parade by Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle, you will also see the 126,000 twinkling LED lights, sparkling “icicles” and glistening snow-capped turrets.

Touch “snowfall” during “Believe…in Holiday Magic” Fireworks Spectacular

Once night falls, the skies light up brightly with a fantastic fireworks spectacular above Disneyland park. Make sure to stay for the grand finale as gentle whisps of “snowfall” sway through the sky and land on your nose for continued magical memories.

Mickey’s Happy Holidays

Hear memorable music during “Mickey’s Happy Holidays”

What better way to hear merry sounds than during the new “Mickey’s Happy Holidays” character celebration? The talented Holiday Toy Drummers play to the beat and get the party going with high-energy music and favorite Disney and Pixar characters dancing during Disney Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure park. See the show as it runs twice daily, with special moments at Paradise Gardens Park and Carthay Circle.

Smell sense-ational new scents inside “it’s a small world” Holiday

For the holidays, this fabulous attraction at Disneyland park is transformed into the merriest voyage around the world. Celebrating peace on earth for its 23rd season, the children across the globe don seasonal costumes and sing along to famous holiday carols, celebrating unity and joy for all. New this year, you can smell three new scents during your journey: cherry blossom in Asia, cinnamon in South America and coconut in the South Seas.

Taste delicious holiday-inspired foods

At Disneyland park, enjoy tasty holiday-themed eats! Try “mashup” favorites like the Thanks-Mas Sandwich and Peppermint Churro. At Disney California Adventure park, enjoy all the yummy foods at the Festival Foods Marketplace during Disney Festival of Holidays. Taste your way around the resort with the Foodie Guide to Holidays 2019 at Disneyland park and Foodie Guide to Holidays 2019 at Disney California Adventure park.

So get out there and see, touch, hear, smell and taste the holidays for yourself!
