Ratu Kadavulevu School Old Boys rugby side won the Koroturaga trophy after defeating Nasinu 15-11 at Albert Park yesterday.

The win qualifies them to play in the Escott Shield division next year.

Nasinu made a strong start scoring the opening try through Waisale Serevi who also kicked the conversion.

RKSOB scored their opening try through Tevita Cokanasiga.

RKSOB regrouped well in the second half to score two tries through Cokanasiga and winger Sili Ane while Nasinu only managed a penalty to Serevi.

RKSOB manager Aisea Tuamoto dedicated the win to three of their players who died earlier this year.

“It was a good game, they gave us a good run but our boys held on and played to plan.”

Nasinu coach Usaia Biumaiwai believes defence and decision making cost them the game.

“ Our defence was not strong. Most of our players are young and we will come prepared next season.”
