NEW YORK (WCBS 880) – Police are searching for three suspects in a string of muggings on the Upper West Side and in Central Park in recent weeks.

The NYPD released surveillance video Sunday of the three males they’re searching for in the robberies, which stretch back to mid-March.

The first robbery was on the night of March 13, when a 13-year-old boy was targeted in the lobby of a residential building near Amsterdam Avenue and W. 77th Street, police said.

The 13-year-old was pushed to the ground and robbed of his L.A. Dodgers baseball hat, according to police.

Four days later, on the afternoon of March 17, two men, ages 25 and 26, were near W. 79th Street inside Central Park when the thieves flashed a knife and stole two Citi Bikes from the victims, police said.

About two weeks later, on the night of March 30, two 14-year-old boys and a 15-year-old boy were in front of 52 Riverside Dr. around 9 p.m. when the muggers flashed a gun and stole two cellphones and a sweatshirt, according to police.

A couple of hours after that robbery, the trio stole an electric scooter from a residential building near Riverside Drive and W. 78th Street around 11:15 p.m., police said.

At 12:30 a.m. that same night, the trio threatened to stab a 27-year-old man in front of 19 W. 69th St., police said. They stole his cell phone and a wallet containing $375.

The NYPD video shows the suspects fleeing down Central Park West with the stolen electric scooter after robbing the 27-year-old man, police said.

No injuries were reported in any of the incidents, according to police.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
