Lorenna Corral SF & LA For More: LORENNACORRAL.COM Instagram.com/LorennaCorral Lorenna Corral is an indie pop artist and songwriter / producer. She often writes about her family's experiences with mental illness and a psychiatric drug induced disability, Tardive Dyskinesia, she overcame. She wrote and produced her first album, Sugar Pills, in her bedroom in 2018. Sugar Pill II is the second and final installment to her mental health journey. Each song is about different family member’s fights through suicide attempts, mental hospital stays, psychosis, homelessness and figuring out how to function in society. Lorenna is happy this chapter of her life is coming to a close, although mental health is never completely finished being worked on, it is something that can be worked through everyday and can reach a healed and functioning state. Lorenna recorded Sugar Pills II with producer / engineer Alexander Williams and various other co-producers at The Village Studios in Los Angeles. She would sneak in late at night after work to write and sing in studios some of her favorite artists had just left! If Sugar Pills was about her struggle with mental illness, fighting, and healing then her project, Checklist Love, is about her next chapter in life. In this new world, Lorenna blossoms despite the winter and discovers the warmth and harsh realities of love and relationship.
