No, this item is not an electric scooter.

What is the difference between AW and AW 125 scooter? And are they bigger than Razor A scooters?

I bought this for my daughter and she really enjoy it like anything. I'm very happy to see the quality of metal & bearings used.

Product itself is great, easy to assemble and easy to use. When I picked up the scooter, after it was shipped to my local Walmart, I was upset. This was a gift for my niece and the box it came in was half ripped open and then very poorly taped back shut. When I complained to the cashier she didn't really seem to care. I did ask to open the box and check to see it all the parts where there at the counter. Other than the shipping disappointment, the scooter purchase was a wonderful experience.
