Deepika Padukone gives a fitting reply to a journalist who inquires about her pregnancy rumours

Deepika Padukone was left amused when a reporter asked the actress about her pregnancy rumours. Deepika's reply for the same is hilarious. The actress was promoting her film, Chhapaak, in Mumbai's suburbs.

Deepika Padukone is currently on a promotional spree of her upcoming real-life drama, Chhapaak. The actress is gearing up for the release and has been giving interviews and attending various shows to promote the movie. In one such interview, the actress was asked about doing a film with Salman Khan and whether she would be going to Bigg Boss to promote Chhapaak. In one her recent interviews (as per an IANS report), Deepika revealed that she will start shooting for her upcoming untitled relationship drama, which also stars Ananya Panday and Gully Boy fame Siddhant Chaturvedi, in March. "I am working with Siddhant Chaturvedi in my next film, which is directed by Shakun Batra. We are starting it in March," Deepika Padukone said during a promotional event of Chhapaak. A couple of days ago, producer Karan Johar had also tweeted saying that the untitled film will hit theatres on February 12, 2021. At the same event, Deepika was amused when a journalist prodded her on rumours of her pregnancy. Pat came the reply, "Do I look like I'm pregnant? I will ask you when I will plan (to have a family). If you give me permission then I will plan. If I become pregnant, then you will see that in nine months." When asked the actress whether she would be seen promoting Chhapaak on Salman Khan's show Bigg Boss, Deepika said, "No, there is no conversation of going to Bigg Boss."

However, she went on to add, "Our fans are always curious about if we are doing a film together, about when we are doing a film together. I really want to do it but I think it's important for us to come together for the right kind of film. We have always seen Salman in certain types of films. I am the biggest fan of 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam' and I would like to see him in that kind of a role or something different from what he has done, so I think it's really the script (that matters). We have not been offered anything in recent times but I would love to do a film with him."

Chhapaak is directed by Meghna Gulzar and also features Vikrant Massey in a key role. The film will hit silver screens on Friday, January 10.
