Preparing poster presentations

Presenter: Dr Eli Saetnan, LDC Development Team
For many post-graduates, attendance at academic conferences will involve preparing a poster of their research for presentation. But what makes a good poster, and how do you maximise this opportunity to generate discussion around your research topic?
This half-day workshop will offer experiential learning in poster design and presentation skills. Participants will work in small groups drafting, designing and presenting an academic poster. Through a facilitated discussion and feedback session, participants will gain an understanding of the possibilities and limitations of this communication format, and will be well placed to produce expert posters for their next conference or faculty poster session.
This workshop offers opportunities to gain skills outlined in the RDF subdomains A3, B3 and D2.
Registration: You are recommended to use your University of Liverpool email to register on Eventbrite and then the calendar invitation will be added to your University calendar. We reserve the right to remove attendees who do not appear to be members of this University.
