INVITATION TO BID (ITB), INVITATION TO QUOTE (ITQ), AND REQUEST FOR
SPONSORSHIP (RFS) EFFECTIVE MAY 6, 2019.
APM-2-19 Eliminating the Process of Curing Irregularities in Documents Submitted
To All Prospective Bidders effective February 26, 2015:
Pursuant to Section 18-120 of the City of Miami Procurement Code, entitled "Responsible Wage Construction Contracts," any construction contract with an award value in excess of $250,000.00 will be required to pay Miami-Dade County Responsible Wages and Benefits rates to all labors and mechanics assigned to the construction project.
Miami-Dade County Responsible Wages and Benefits rate schedules can be found at:
www.miamidade.gov/smallbusiness/responsible-wages-and-benefits.asp.
The only exception to this requirement is for construction projects which are federally funded, the state is paying 50% or more of the cost of the construction project, or when expressly prohibited by state or federal law or grant requirements. Federally assisted construction contracts must adhere to Davis-Bacon Act wages and benefits rate schedules. The appropriate wage rate schedules (e.g., Responsible Wages and Benefits vs. Davis Bacon) will be indicated in the solicitation documents.
