Nope. I do not like this book. The insta lust/ love is too much. The story is full with BDSM. The characters does not have chemistry at all. Hence the BDSM is stiff and forced.
Even the suspense can not save the story. I have been selecting books that is sucks.
So sad this book does not work either.

I thoroughly enjoyed Hawkeye operative Trace Romero and Aimee Inamorata’s story. Aimee is the younger sister of the boss of Hawkeye and when it appears that she is in danger, Trace is sent in to investigate and protect her at all costs.
I loved the push and pull of this relationship between Trace and Aimee, the sexual tension built and built until it threatened to explode. It was intense and way too powerful in the end for either of them to ignore .
Aimee has been attracted to the BDSM lifestyle she has read about in her books and has longed to explore it, but is she brave enough to ask Trace to teach her? The last time she put herself out there to request, it ended badly and having been burnt she really is uncertain if she should open herself up to ridicule and rejection again.
I really loved Trace, the way he guided Aimee in her new found exploration of the lifestyle was beautiful. His genuine care and thoughtfulness was swoon worthy. Throw in the fact that he was willing to die to protect her and you have a hero that melted my heart.
The writing was strong and I particularly enjoyed the feistiness and snarkiness that Aimee brought to the relationship when she and Trace were sparring. Her ability to be brave and yet vulnerable as Trace brought her into the lifestyle was heart warming. Aimee’s bird Eureka, had some of the best lines in the book and made me laugh.
When danger rears it’s ugly head, will Trace be able to protect the woman that he has come to care for so much? Or will it all be in vain?
Trust in Me was well written, smoking hot, action packed and a book I recommend.

Trace is sent in to protect Aimee, who is his boss's sister. She hates it at first but the more Trace learns about her, the more he wants her. He can't though, right? When he learns she is curious about BDSM, it throws him for a loop and they slowly start building a relationship. I love the fact that the characters didn't just jump right into the relationship, they took time to learn about each other first. But danger is closing in and it's up to Trace and his team to keep Aimee safe. Will he get to her in time before the bad guy gets to her? While I loved the first book, I really loved this one. It just reeled me in from the first page and hooked me good. And well, I didn't see the twist coming. LOL I highly recommend this book!!!

Got this as a free read in a newsletter so thought I'd give it a try. Apparently, there's a book before this one, but I didn't feel like I was missing anything major by not reading the first book in the series. I was not a huge fan of Aimee (her initial attitude and some of her internal monologuing were irritating), but Trace I did like and her parrot - it really helped make the story with funny comments from the bird and his antics. Because it's BDSM (which I didn't know at the time I started reading, lol) there's a good amount of steamy sex scenes, general explanations of the BDSM world (since it's an interest of Aimee's from reading erotic stories) along with fun banter, humor, suspense, and romance thrown in. There's also a twist with the whodunnit. Not my favorite type of genre by far, but it was a quick entertaining read. If you're a fan of the BDSM reads you'll most likely enjoy this one.

Aimee meets Trace and pegs him as your typical Alpha male. He is dominant, pushy and it's his way or the highway. At first Aimee digs her heels in and does not make it an easy mission for Trace. She gives him attitude every chance she can. Her tune soon changes when she realizes they have off the chart attraction to each other. She finds herself enticed by his dominant nature in the bedroom. This Series just gets better and better. While I loved book 1 I must say this one is so far my favorite!
Trace has been assigned to keep Aimee out of dangers harm. Aimee knows many secrets that could end up getting her killed. She is definitely in the line of fire. Aimee's initial reaction to Trace is basically uninterested. He just seems like the typical Alpha male set on protecting her and getting the job done. He is stubborn and works in the sense that his way is the only way.
Aimee definitely does not make Trace's job easy. She is sassy, feisty and stubborn. She exudes attitude in every aspect. What Aimee does not expect is the attraction she has to him. Is it possible they are the perfect match? She is drawn to him dominance and control he has over her. She has always flirted and been tempted by the idea of being dominated, however, until now she has not acted on it. Will Trace be what she needs and more?

Trace and Aimee did a wonderful dance around each other, all the sexual energy sizzling, all those sly glances, and easy rapport. When your big sister is the person running the show for a security company, a little problem you have results in you getting a live-in bodyguard, who is shadowing your every move, going through all your things, and living in your house. I love this series! Trust in Me is so hot and the suspense is great! Trace is sent to protect his boss’ sister, Aimee. However she doesn’t think she needs protection and having someone in her space is not welcome and so there is a lot of tension.... all types of tension and the chemistry between them... Ohhhhh the chemistry 😉. The sexy as sin Trace spies some of her BDSM material.. and he just so happens to have the experience that Aimee is needing ... the question is will they act on it and can he keep her safe? I love these romantic suspense Sierra gives us! Super hot and steamy❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Trace Romero is a Hawkeye operative and is assigned to keep his boss's little sister (and her work secrets) safe after her house is broken into. Aimee Inamorata finds the arrival of the dominant man irritating - he is turning her life upside down and is the kind of man she has spent her life avoiding. But he is also lighting a fire within her that is threatening to consume her. The madman is closer than anyone thinks and Aimee needs to learn to trust Trace before it is too late.
I loved this story which was a mixture of a story about them and their relationship merged into the story about the killer coming after her and the secret project she has been working on. I loved the way that he introduced her to the BDSM lifestyle and the way she seems to be a natural at it. I was thrilled when it was all sorted that he made some very permanent decisions about them and their relationship which were right but also the method of those decisions was very dominant. Easy to read and understand. Contains mature content and lots of descriptions of BDSM behaviours.

What an amazing book, I just have no words for how wonderfully this was written. I absolutely couldn't put this novel down.
Aimee is a strong willed nerdy professor type helping the hawkeye company with new technology when her sister overreacts and sends an operative to protect her and drive her absolutely crazy. She is an amazing character when u start unraveling her back story you become amazed with her.
Trace is losing his mind trying to behave and be good in a house with a woman that tempts him every second of every day. Until he finally gives into his urges and needs with both of their wants.
So wonderful this naughty lil love story.
Sierra is an amazing author I have read and review many of her books and never have they let me down in enjoyment and the love of every character she creates.

Be still my beating heart! Inamorata's younger sister works for Hawkeye as well, only she's in the IT department. A part-time professor at the local college, she's part of a team working on a classified project from home along with other team members around the world. But when she comes home to find her door open and calls her sister a security detail is immediately dispatched for around-the-clock protection. Aimee Inamorata wants no part of it until they have the conversation about her choice of reading material, specifically her BDSM books. Following this pair through all the firsts of Aimee's BDSM experience was thrilling. The excitement, fear, trepidation, and embarrassment can all be felt through Ms. Cartwright's words until it felt like I was the third person in the room, not counting Eureka of course.

Another great installment in the Hawkeye series and another great story with lots of actions, great characters and great romance.

The sparring between the two, had me in stitches. Above all, Trace wants to protect Aimee from danger, but also because he cares for her.
The storyline is definitely a page-turner. When I find a story that I love I just wish it would continue, I want to read more and more about these characters. I highly recommend this series and cannot wait for the next installment.

The Hawkeye team is in place for another of their own. This time, Trace shows up on Aimee's doorstep at the command of her sister, for a possible threat. The sparks that fly off the two of these are more than just their verbal sparring. Between going for runs, a hilarious bird, and action, this book had it all. The ending seemed a bit rushed, but overall it was a solid book, and I'm looking forward to more of the Hawkeye team in the future. I'm falling for more of these alpha men with every book!

The second book in the Hawkeye series, but it can be read as a standalone without any problems. It features a new couple., Aimee and Trace.
Aimee was a wonderful character. She was a bit of a longer and liked her routine and having someone disturb her quiet life, is a big and not always welcome change.
I liked Trace. He was calm and relaxed, but he did want to be able to do his job and be obeyed.
I enjoyed their interactions and the way they explored a new relationship.
For me the star of the show was the parrot Eureka though. He made me laugh, he was quite the character.

This is the second installment of the Hawkeye series, and my favorite thus far. Aimee and Trace start out their relationship as client and bodyguard, where they build a base level of trust. The trust continues to bloom and grow into a relationship, where both Trace and Aimee need to put away past experiences and learn to knock down their walls and give all of themselves. Loved the characters and their interactions, and Eureka brought a welcome level of humor.
Definitely put this on your must read list!

Did you hear the one about the bodyguard, the scientist and the dive bombing parrot? A strange menage if ever there was one but it makes for a fascinating story. In Trace Romero, Sierra Cartwright has given us the ultimate alpha Dom: demanding, intractable and a Master. His charge, Aimee Inamorata, is saucy, sexy, brilliant and submissive to the core. The assignment to keep her safe turns into so much more. This book has it all; suspense, danger, humor, and lots of steamy sex. Great reading!

This book was better than the first. At least I felt like I wasn't dropped in the middle of a story.
I liked Trace, but could not bring myself to like Aimee at all. It was a decent mystery with a nice amount of suspense. I did wonder why there seemed to be no suspicion revolving around certain characters. If I had been Trace, there were a couple of people I would have been giving the side eye.
I didn't understand why he kept putting up with Aimee, but he was willing so....
A bit of suspense, action, and possible surprise at who the culprit turned out to be in this tale.

Trace’s arrival turns Aimee Inamorata’s life upside down. These 2 characters were a treat to read the way the connection is a slow burn, that once trace, and aimee finally gives into there attractions for one another its sizzling. This is book was enjoyable. I really liked the main characters chemistry. I voluntarily review this book for my honest opinion.

I loved that Sierra really allowed for the truth of a BDSM relationship developing to be shown within these pages. Not only did she create strong relatable characters, or a storyline that kept me reading but she weaved the truth about love, sex, BDSM, and ultimately trust within the pages. And to me that's what really allowed for this story to shine.

This 2nd book in series and is better then 1st. Has a lot more relationship and romance in it. Trace is very demanding but very sexy. Really like that Aimee was nerdy and peculiar in her own charming way. Aimee is the little sister of the Hawkeye owner and Trace thinking she’s more a annoying little sister rather then a gorgeous nerdy.

I loved this book. It is well written and it is the second in this series. This one is worth your time and effort. This one has some suspense in it. Sierra Cartwright is an awesome writer and worth reading, I know when I see her name on a book I will be getting a fantastic story. Get this one and give it a chance!!!!

I really enjoyed this book by Sierra Cartwright the first book by her I’ve read . This is Aimee and Trace’s story and a very good one. Trace is sent by Hawkeye Security to protect Aimee and the two of them are fantastic together . I believe I will continue to read books by Sierra and and more of the Hawkeye Series .

I don't typically enjoy brand new sub books cause authors tend to over educate the person reading. This book does not do that, the MMC and the FMC have a conversation but there is no over exaggerated explanation. This will fall into your typical BDSM bedroom romance with a good balance of sexual scenes and story.

It's a great continuation of the series!! I love how this couple begins their journey into relation. He is the experienced person and her being the novice. The book shows how trust is built in a relationship!! Loved it!! Would definitely recommend!

Couldn't get enough!
Sierra Cartwright has done it again, right from the first few paragraphs I was hooked and couldn't put the book down. I can't wait for the next book in this series. I highly recommend the book!!
