Momentum is a series of four breakfast events and a continuation of the successful Momentum Summit conferences that Dublin Chamber has run since 2015. The aim of the series is to give Dublin Chamber members access to Dublin based start-ups and entrepreneurs that have successfully scaled their businesses. The focus of the events is on sharing learnings and insights.

John Beckett, ChannelSight

John Beckett is co-founder and CEO of ChannelSight, a market intelligence platform that helps brands to optimise the performance of their content at driving sales across channels, markets and devices. ChannelSight has a team of over 80 people serving brand clients in 65 countries, and has raised c. €15m since 2015 to build their market-leading technology.

John founded Forestry Partners in 2019, a not-for-profit with the aim of restoring Ireland’s native woodlands to foster biodiversity and capture carbon emissions. Dozens of companies have come together to part-fund the planting of hundreds of acres of new forests in Ireland, and the GoCarbonNeutral.ie consumer app launched in 2020.

John has founded or invested in other successful companies including iCabbi, Eirtight and BuyIreland.com, and has run businesses in the US, UK, Romania and Malaysia. In his spare time, he enjoys sailing and running.   

Dr. Anita Finnegan, Nova Leah

Dr. Anita Finnegan is the Founder and CEO of Nova Leah, a world leader in the provision of cybersecurity risk management solutions for medical device manufacturers and healthcare providers. SelectEvidence® from Nova Leah is the first risk management tool in the world to deliver medical device compliance across multiple international standards. Anita is a global expert in cybersecurity for medical devices. She has authored two internationally regulated industry standards for medical equipment - ISO/IEC 80001-2-8 and ISO/IEC 80001-2-8.

Through her work with Nova Leah, Dr Finnegan has won multiple awards for innovation, security and technological impact. Nova Leah was named Emerging Company of Year at the 2019 Technology Ireland Awards in association with Ibec and was shortlisted by Digital Europe for the European 'Future Unicorn Award' in 2020. Nova Leah was featured in WIRED Magazine as one of 'Europe's 100 Hottest Startups' and Finnegan was listed in ‘50 Female Entrepreneurs Everyone Should Know’ by Crunchbase.
