2021-07-26T10:39+10:00

Gerard Whateley and David King have named their top four seeds in the AFL after Round 19.

These are the four teams they have the most confidence in going forward, coupled with what the teams have shown so far.

See their seedings below:

Whateley's seedings

1. Geelong

“Cats at one.”

2. Western Bulldogs

“Dogs at two.”

3. Melbourne

“I’ve flipped them around.

“I said two and three would be decided by the outcome of the game (against the Bulldogs) and I’m totally comfortable with that.”

4. Sydney

“I feel like I was an early adopter.

“What about the inside 50 tackles stat? 28-2 – that blew my mind.”

King's seedings

1. Western Bulldogs

“(Luke) Beveridge’s ability to set that game up on the weekend for his stars made me elevate them.”

2. Geelong

“I’m going to move Geelong to two.”

3. Melbourne

“I’m leaving Melbourne at three.”

4. Sydney

“I’ve called them ‘The Dementors’ – they suck the soul out of their opposition.

“They deny everything. They don’t allow you to play, they don’t allow you to move the ball, they don’t allow you to take uncontested marks, they don’t allow you to run.

“They just chip the ball around and destroy you.”
