From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Kristen Proby comes a new story in her With Me In Seattle series…

Sabrina Harrison hates being famous. She walked away from show business, from the flashing bulbs and prying eyes years ago, and is happy in her rural Oregon home, dedicating her life to her non-profit.

Until Hollywood calls, offering her the role of a lifetime. In more than ten years, she’s never felt the pull to return to the business that shunned her, but this role is everything Sabrina’s ever longed for.

Now she has to get in shape for it.

Benjamin Demarco’s gym, Sound Fitness, continues making a name for itself in Seattle. And now, he finds himself with the task of training Sabrina, getting her in shape for the role of her life. He’s trained hundreds of women. This is his job. So why does he suddenly see Sabrina as more than just another client? His hands linger on her skin, his breath catches when she’s near.

He knows better. Soon, she’ll be gone, living her life. A life that doesn’t include him.

4 ‘The Chemistry Between Us’ Stars

Awwww, what a FEEL GOOD, heart warming, happy vibe romance! Ben and Rina were the perfect match in this delicious little read that gave me ALL the Christmas holiday feels! Sweet, sexy with just the right amount of emotional charge!

Sabrina, a previously big name in Hollywood, has been out of that world for a very long time, but when Luke comes up with the perfect role for her, she can’t resist. Now she needs to get back in the necessary shape for the part, and Ben is the man for it, and for her, in every way.

These 1001 Dark Knights tales are such a bright spot in my literary life, short but still fully packed with romantic deliciousness, it’s exactly like its description, a true Scheherazade story telling, and that is exactly what Shine With Me was. An amazing novella by one of my all time fav authors, that just left me wanting more and more of this world. Ben and Rina were the perfect characters to fit the genre, and their love story both the perfect enticement to those who never read Kristen Proby, and the ideal KP little fix for those of us who are addicted to her genius writing. SO much so that I’m already counting down the days until the next With Me In Seattle! <3 <3 <3 <3

"I don’t care that it’s fast. I don’t care what anyone else thinks. Sometimes life just happens, and you meet someone you recognize. Someone that always held a place in your life, you just never knew it before.”

Sabrina Harrison walked away from showbiz many years ago, she is now living a quiet life in Oregon running a non profit. Well that was until a friend from her past, Luke Williams, shows up with a script that she just can't say no to.

When Ben and Rina meet for the first time it was pretty comical I must admit I did chuckle out loud and I think we've all been in Ben's shoes when we meet a star for the first time. I enjoyed the way they worked together and the friendship that developed over time.

Every time I read a book within the "With Me In Seattle Series" it gives me all the warm and fuzzies.......it's like coming home. This was an easy, quick read but one that was sweet, fun, witty and some explosive chemistry you could definitely feel from the words between the pages. Ben and Rina's story had me hanging on every word and hoping for so much more of their story because it captivates you with the ease of their relationship and beauty of their love story!

What a great side story for this much beloved series! Sweet romance between Ben and Sabrina but for fans of this series, the golden ticket was all the all the cameos from favorite characters in previous stories.

This is a novella so there isn't much time for character development. The author gives us an insta-attraction but friends to lovers look at these two. Great humor and some steamy moments let you know that these two are the real deal. I look forward to seeing them again in future books. They fit right in with the Montgomery clan.

Sweet, easy read! Glad I picked it up!

Its great getting anything from this series and getting more the Williams/Montgomery clan. But I wish there was just a bit more drama i know its a short story but it was just a lil to light i wanted a bit more romance and sexiness.

Sabrina Harrison left Hollywood a decade ago and now lives in small town in Oregon where she runs a nonprofit. Luke Williams comes to Sabrina with an offer to star in his latest movie which she at first rejects but the script was too good to pass on. Ben Demarco is a gym owner and personal trainer and Luke comes to him to train Sabrina for the role and get her back in shape. The moment Ben and Sabrina meet, they're attracted to one another but they do keep things professional at first. For the next several weeks, Ben puts Sabrina through the paces and she works her ass off. Their chemistry was off the charts and they couldn't keep their hands off of each other when not working out. I loved that Sabrina got to meet the rest of the Montgomery clan and extended family who all welcomed her with open arms. I liked Ben and Sabrina's relationship, things between them was easy and fun. I liked that they knew pretty quickly how they felt about each other and decided to make it work between them. I did like Sabrina's best friend actor Zane Cooper and how protective he was of her. This was a fun, cute story and I really enjoyed it and it's always fun to visit the Montgomery/Williams clan.

Sabrina was a child actress who turned into an adult star until it became a choice between her health and her career. She has created a new life for herself helping other far away from LA until she receives an acting opportunity that exceeds anything she dreamed of.

Benjamin owns his own fitness club so when his friend asks him to help Sabrina get physically ready for her demanding role he agrees to put everything else aside and train her. He knew that accepting her as a client would be a challenge, but he hadn’t expected the biggest challenge would be denying the chemistry between them.

This is a sweet and sexy story of two people who couldn’t be a better match but for them to have a future together they must overcome the negative parts of being a star and realize that trust, love and each other is all they need.

What a cute short read! After the nightmare experience she had in Hollywood as a child and teen, Sabrina retired from the acting world and has stayed out of the limelight for years. Until she gets offered the role of a lifetime that makes her reconsider. Traveling to Seattle to take on the role that was made for her, she has to train to prepare for it – and insert Ben. The owner of a local gym, he isn’t excited at first to rearrange his schedule and business, but once he lays eyes on Sabrina the attraction is there that makes it all worth it to him. As they get to know each other, Ben realizes Sabrina is more than the superficial celebrity he thinks and the chemistry is electric between them. Of course, a misunderstanding almost derails their relationship but thankfully all ends well for this couple!

Shine With Me was a sweet, fast-paced, feel good romance featuring new characters Ben and Sabrina. Along with numerous familiar faces from both the Williams and Montgomery families.

But at around one hundred pages long, it was a bit too short for me, and given the time frame and a lack of chemistry I didn't really get Ben and Sabrina as a couple. However, I liked them and I was engaged throughout, still that had more to do with Luke, Natalie, Nic, etc than the actual romance between Ben and Sabrina.

Sabrina and Ben
Now this I liked. I liked how full circle it felt being as Sabrina was Luke’s costar in the movies that made them so famous. I love that she falls for the man who is literally whooping her butt into shape.
Luke is cool too I enjoyed getting to see a little of him in this book as well.
Great narration sad the series is over for now.

It was an easy read, short and fun. It could be easily read in a couple of hours.

Sabrina, an actress met Ben, a fitness trainer when she needed to get fit for a role. They met, trained and started a relationship.

Simple story but the author kept it well paced and there were some interesting supporting characters.

I love this series and it was amazing and nostalgic to see so many of the early faces. No matter how much time passes, I'm always giddy when I see them.

This novella was a short an easy read. A sweet way to spend my afternoon, knowing without a doubt that I would get funny scenes, adorable characters, sexy moments and a wonderful time.

5 Star Review of Shine With Me (With Me In Seattle #13.5) by Kristen Proby

I have only read a few books in this series, but what I have read I have loved. This is Benjamin Demarco and Sabrina Harrison’s story and was a great addition to this wonderful series; I was captivated from the first to the last chapter.

Although it is a quick read, Ms.Proby certainly managed to pack a lot into it. Sabrina left Hollywood behind years ago but when an offer comes across her desk which is too good to refuse she knows she needs to get herself into shape. Enter Ben, the owner of the gym she is training at. The last thing he wants to do do is get involved with a client and yet there is something her that draws him to her and he cannot ignore it.

The attraction between them is too intense to ignore and the chemistry between them sizzles and was so hot and steamy. I loved both the characters, they were easy to relate to and the story was entertaining and steamy.

I cannot wait to see what Ms.Proby has in store for this series.

I love going "home" to Seattle lol.
Oh, how I loved Ben and Sabrina. This was a fun steamy novella. Each piece of the With Me in Seattle series just grows the series in my mind. It makes me love the "With Me" characters like family and keeps me eager and waiting for the next piece of the story haha. Of course in this novella, we get to reconnect with all my favorites *hello Nate ;)* but we also get to meet Sabrina who has a fun connection to Imagine with Me that I hope we get to hear more about later. We also get to see Ben again who was deliciously sexy. This was a quick and easy 5-star read.

Wow! This book is a novella and was a quick read. With Me in Seattle series is one of my top and every book that comes out in the series is amazing. Each book from the series is a new couple that is connected in some way. I have read every single book and love it more and more with each release.

Ben moved to Seattle after his best friend Nic moved and married Matt (Tied With Me). He is now the new owner of the gym Nate’s (Fight With Me) dad owner before he retired. He has poured his life into his new business and is busier that ever. So when Luke Williams (Come Away With Me) calls him about training an actress for a few months his first respond was no he was just to busy, but when Luke tells him what he would be getting paid for this job, he knew the gym could use that type of money. So, he agreed and cleared his scheduled. Because this client needed 100% of his attention for what they needed to accomplish in a few months. He didn’t know much about his new client Sabrina, other than she was an actress who worked with Luke back in the days. He had no idea what to expect from her but when he saw her, it was over. He wanted her. He could not get her out of his head. His hands on her daily while he stretched her were making him insane.

Sabrina left Hollywood over 10 years ago and moved to Oregon. She runs a non-profit for women and children with her assistant. She never regretted making the move, she was happy. Things changed though when Luke Williams walked into her office. Luke and she go way back, they were co-star and friends. But he was in her building with a script in hand. He knew she couldn't read the script and walk away from the roll. It was made for her. So she packed some bags and went to Seattle to prepare for the roll. What she wasn’t prepared for was Ben, her HOT as hell personal trainer. She knew they needed to be professional, but with every touch, every look, she was losing her own battle of trying to stay away from him. Could they keep their hands to themselves? Could they focus only on their professional relationship and move on?

Like I said this book was amazing and HOT. I recommend this book, actual the whole series is a must read. I can’t wait for the next one. 5 stars for sure.

Shine with Me is an novella in Kristen Proby’s With Me in Seattle series. It is also part of the 1001 Dark Nights series. You can read each book as standalone since each is a different couple. They are tied together of course which is so much fun. I have been following the series for years but have missed a few. Yes, they are waiting on my iPad.

Sabrina left Hollywood years ago, and now lives in Oregon and runs a non-profit for women and children. She never looked back when she left the limelight. It was her life since the age of three. She was done. Then he walks in. Luke Williams. Her old co-star and friend, also a man who left LA now behind the camera instead of in front of it. And now, he was in her building with a script in hand. One he knows she will say yes to since it’s a perfect role for her and he was right. She wanted it.

Ben was the new owner of a beloved local gym. He is crazy busy and with a new client. One who will need his full attention. He doesn’t know much about Sabrina, only that she was a child actor and an old friend of Luke’s. He didn’t know what to expect from Sabrina but when he saw her? He was done. He wanted her. Of course, he couldn’t just kiss her right then but he wanted to. They needed to be professional. They have six weeks to get her into shape for her role. Six weeks until she goes back to her life in Bend while he is in Seattle. Can they keep their hands to themselves?

Of course not!! Come on. I loved this story. It’s a novella but full of story, heart, fun, heat, and workouts. And of course, a family of friends. I love the With Me in Seattle family. So much! I can’t wait for the next book. I hope this series never ends.

Quotes:

“You’re the only sweet thing I want to taste,” I whisper against her earlobe. “Jesus, you’d tempt a saint, Rina.”

“We could have brought more, but we Tetrised this as much as we could.”
“See?” I turn to Ben. “Tetris.”

“Is it Zane Cooper, the movie star?”
“One and the same.”
“Wow,” Nic breathes, earning a look from her husband. “If Matt were to ever give me a hall pass—and trust me, we all know that’s never gonna happen—”
“Walking a fine line here, little one.”

Oh, how I love returning to Seattle and the Montgomery’s! Shine With Me is Kristen Proby’s newest novella in this world. You see a lot of the Mongomer’s too. So fun to catch up with and see who’s doing what. This is Ben Demarco and Sabrina Harrison’s story. Sabrina is in need of Ben’s expertise as a personal trainer to prepare for a movie role she never thought she would do again.

Since moving to Seattle to be near his best friend, Nic (Dalton) Montgomery, Ben has been focused on his new fitness business. Through his friendship with Nic, Ben has become a member of this tight knit loving family by extension. When asked to train someone for a new movie will Ben remember she is a client or will they both give in to the incredible amount of chemistry between them? Ben is just like all the other men in the Montgomery family. Super hot, muscles for days, smart, sexy, and alpha to the core for family and the woman who just might bring him to his knees. Not enough words for this simple country girl to describe how hot and sexy Ben is as well as all the other Montgomery men.

I totally love how Kristen puts so much depth into her characters and how interconnected the stories and characters are to each other. Her writing is just phenomenal in all areas, character development is perfection, to me anyway. Basically, I am completely over the moon for this book and author. If you love large families who have each other’s backs, ALWAYS? Then you will love any one of the “With Me In Seattle” books. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. 5 stars easily.

Shine With Me by Kristen Proby is a novella set inside her With Me In Seattle world but as with much of the 1001 Dark Nights novellas is designed to be read standalone. When a role Sabrina "Rina" Harrison feels she was meant to play pulls her out of the self-induced seclusion she ends up in the orbit of personal trainer Benjamin "Ben" Demarco. Ben is charged by the film's producer Luke Williams to get Rina into the shape needed to play an FBI agent to hunts serial killers. Rina and Ben's story is a fun and light-hearted love story. It is laced with classic Proby banter and is a great introduction to her writing and this world. Proby did a wonderful job in this novella by allowing the reader insight into each character using Ben's friendship with Nic (from Tied with Me) and Rina's bond with Zane (psssss I want a happy for Zane in a future book). Rina's charity was worked into the plot to not only show who she is as a person but also used to show Ben falling for the whole person not just the "package" he is charged with getting into tip top shape. Ben and Rina's love is one the reader can feel will have each supporting each other's career as they enjoy a life together. If you have not read this series book one Come Away with Me (the story of Luke Williams an intricate secondary character in this read) is FREE! Side Note as a big fan of this series it was great to see some many characters wove into this story and that this plot was born out of the most recent book the series Imagine with Me

I enjoyed Kristen Proby's "Shine with Me" tremendously. Main characters Ben and Sabrina (aka "Rina") were both quite likeable and relatively well-developed considering the story's short length. I appreciated how open Rina was about her past struggles with anorexia and body image, and while she was excited about the opportunity to return to acting, she did not want to have to starve herself to fit into Hollywood's ideal. As a passionate advocate of health and wellness, Ben took Rina's concerns seriously as he helped her prepare for her role as an FBI agent in pursuit of a serial killer. I loved how dedicated he was to building his business and was also very impressed by his willpower when it came to sweets - no way would I be able to turn down cupcakes the way Ben did several times over the course of the story!

Rina and Ben's chemistry was intense from the very beginning and while their relationship grew quickly, it never felt like insta-love to me. They had to spend a lot of time together to achieve Rina's training goals in only 6 weeks, so it made sense that they would get to know each other quickly. Rina fit in very well with Ben's friends and family, which undoubtedly helped. I enjoyed seeing her interact with characters from several of the earlier books in the series as well as her friend Zane, the famous actor. Zane's behavior with Rina was so silly and goofy at times that it was tough to believe he was an A-list heartthrob! I'm excited to get to know him better when he is featured in his own story next year.

Overall, "Shine with Me" was a fun, quick read that I recommend for all fans of contemporary romance. I look forward to whatever Kristen Proby writes next.

After Shawn O'Callaghan and Nora Perry finished preparing the script for the next film produced by Luke Williams, based on Nora's bestseller, it was time for him to look for his lead actress, and Luke didn't think twice about going after a former co-worker who, like him, had abandoned her acting career, Sabrina Harrison.

Sabrina and Luke, as children, were the protagonists of a television series about vampires. Ten years ago, she decided that she no longer wanted to be part of this world because of the "rotten part", hidden from the spotlight, that made her develop eating disorders, such as anorexia.
Now she was volunteering to distribute baskets to underprivileged girls in Bend, Oregon. And that's where Luke found her.
Despite not wanting to accept right away, after reading the script, Sabrina couldn't resist and agreed to go to Seattle, to prepare herself for the role.

Benjamin Demarco, a personal trainer, had recently bought Nate McKenna's father's gym. Luke offered him $ 100,000 to prepare his actress for the role in 6 weeks. Knowing that that money would help him expand his business, Ben accepted.

In the following weeks, between workouts in the gym and outdoors, having meetings with the Montgomery or simply being alone, the couple starts to connect.
Until the news that the big star Sabrina was in the city, and the paparazzi spread pictures of her, and that undermine the trust between the couple. This could disrupt the filming, her physical preparation and even the new relationship.

What a wonderful addition to the With Me In Seattle Series, this may be a quick read but that doesn’t mean Shine With Me ( With Me In Seattle, #13,5) doesn’t pack a mighty punch, it’s a captivating story featuring Nic’s ex boyfriend Benjamin Demarco and Sabrina Harrison.
Sabrina walked away from Hollywood many years ago but when Luke approaches her with a role she can’t turn down she needs to move to Seattle and get fit for the role, enter Ben the owner of Sound Fitness Gym. Ben has trained hundreds of woman so why is the one different, why is Sabrina getting under his skin and why does he want her to be more than just a client.....
If you haven’t read the With Me In Seattle Series this is the perfect introduction and if like me you have read all the books this is the perfect addition, so this novella will appeal to all romance lovers. It’s a captivating story with super hot men and sassy, strong women who stand for no nonsense, it’s entertaining, witty and emotional and it certainly ticked all my boxes. I loved the new characters and I loved catching up with old favourites from the past so this read was a win win for me and I’m excited to be back in Seattle looking forward to what’s coming next from the very talented Ms Proby.

Shine With Me
Ben and Sabrina are a great addition to this extended family.
Sabrina has walked away from her acting career. Choosing instead to help women and children who are in need. Her non profit is her new calling. Until Luke Williams shows up with the perfect script to tempt her back in front of the camera. The only problem, she’s not exactly in shape for the role.
Enter Ben. He’s taken over one of the local gyms. He prides himself with his whole approach to personal training. Luke has offered a lot of money to get his star in shape. It’s going to take a lot of hours, long days, and rough workouts. But one look at his new client and Ben is looking forward to all of those long days, and hoping for some long nights as well.
I love each and every book that comes out in this series. It’s like revisiting old friends, while meeting new ones along the way.
They are well written. Even these short stories, you get decent character development. It doesn’t take long to fall in love with them.
The women in this series have some epic nights out, they have a fairly tame one in this book, but I loved seeing them all together again.
Great book, great series.
Dual points of view.
No cheating.
HEA
It can standalone, but it’s a terrific series.

I received a free ARC copy of this book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Sabrina is a big Hollywood former star who left that world behind and lives in Portland, OR. In the previous book, Imagine With Me #15 in this series, Shawn and Nora wrote a screenplay together from a book Nora wrote for Luke and they have decided Sabrina is the perfect lead for this movie.

Luke and her go way back and she agrees to do the movie but that means she needs to move to Seattle for several months while she gets into shape for the role of a kick add FBI agent. Ben who is best friends with Nic, who married to one of Luke's brother in laws, Matt and who now owns and runs a gym is tasked with getting her into shape for the movie.

And so starts this really wonderfully warm and heartfelt story about lust and love at first site between two very different people but also ones who Luke's family and friends bring into their hearts as well. It was a wonderful story about falling in love while Sabrina gets into shape for the movie. We get tons of scenes with all the With Me cast of characters like Nate, Jules, Natalie, Luke, and there whole families.
