Poll Says?

VSEA President Aimee Towne emailed members this week with a request from the VSEA Special Events Committee for members to answer one poll question about this year's Annual Meeting in September. Should the meeting be conducted in-person at Jay Peak, virtually (via Zoom), or should both options be offered?

If you don't recall President Towne's email but still want to provide your input, you can view the poll here.

Reminder! Your July 29 Paycheck Will Reflect Newly Adopted VSEA Dues Structure

WIA has been reminding members about a vote at last year's Annual Meeting to institute a new, sliding-scale dues structure. DOC Commissioner Tells Lawmakers That Staffing Crisis At "Very, Very, Very Dangerous Point"

VTDigger posted a story this week about a recent hearing that was scheduled by lawmakers to address the staffing crisis inside Vermont's correctional facilities.
