Safaree has been trending over the last few months, after it was revealed in May that he and his estranged wife, Erica Mena, would be having their second child. That same month, Mena began the process of filing for divorce from the “Love and Hip-Hop” star. The two have two children together, and have been married since 2019. Safaree was worried that Mena wouldn’t let him in the delivery room, but he was able to come through to witness the birth.
On June 21, Safaree also had people surprised, when he said that he would begin to bleach his skin and start the “process” of it. Now, after a lot of backlash, Safaree recently took to his Instagram stories to say that him bleaching his skin wasn’t really going to happen. He emphasized that he wouldn’t do something like this “in a million years.”
“I just want to say that I would never, ever, ever in a million years bleach my skin,” Safaree explained. “I only said that because I’m dropping a skincare line and pretty much, it’s to enhance your already beautiful skin. So, that’s all it’s about. So, to everybody that was hitting me up and people I really know was really asking me about if I’m really gonna bleach my skin.”
